When I arrived I felt instantly uncomfortable and judged. Employees took forever to make food, refused to fill ketchup. Laughed at me when my shirt was inside out. then proceeded to point me out as quote on quote the gay bilingual humanoid. When really I'm extraordinarily handsome and 5'2 I'm also a cisgender male who speaks one language. Gave us the wrong order in the drive thru, then when I corrected them they took 20 minutes to bring me the correct one, then drove home and discovered no dipping sauces for the kids nuggets and no shaker fries that they charged for, also the McFlurry's were so melted by the time they came out they were like soup. read more

I don't expect fine dining at McDonald's, but this location somehow managed to disappoint on every front.My burger was lukewarm, the cheese hadn't even started to melt, and the fries were clearly old--soggy, cold, and oversalted. I ordered a Coke and got what tasted like flat root beer.The staff seemed more interested in chatting among themselves than helping customers. I waited nearly 20 minutes for my food despite the place being nearly empty. No apology, no acknowledgment--just a tray shoved across the counter.The dining area was grim. Sticky tables, overflowing trash bins, and a weird smell that was somewhere between burnt oil and mop water. The flickering overhead lights didn't help the mood. read more

There aren't a lot of options going up to cottage country once you get past Beaverton and they don't have En Routes going up this way so this was our last chance for something quick and fast food-ish. I placed my order via mobile whereas my partner placed his on the ordering kiosk in the restaurant. My order came out way faster than his. Mine was a little more basic since I got a quarter pounder whereas he ordered the McCrispy which is a newer sandwich. Much like the other reviewers had said, it took a really long time to get that second order! The pluses are that it is a McDonald's so you know what you're getting. I've got family moving to the area so we took a day trip drive to scope out the area. My fiancé and I also have a trailer about 25mins away. We were heading back late and decided to stop in since it was the only drive thru in the area. The service was quick and the staff was very polite though it seemed almost forced and over the top at some points during conversation. We were asked to pull up and wait for our order, there were three other cars waiting as well but it didn't take much longer than five minutes of sitting there before our food came out. No issues with our order as everything was fresh and hot. The parking lot set up is a little cramped but they have a decent set up for Covid, with boxes set up in front of vehicle spots where the staff can drop off the food without having to come in contact with customers. read more

I went through the drive-thru of the McDonald's in Beaverton on July 1st. I ordered a smoothie, a hamburger, and a fries. The line up took FOREVER. It was one of the slowest McDonald's drive-thrus I've ever experienced. Once I finally made it to the 2nd window, the server handed me my smoothie (large size) that was only filled to an inch below the top of the cup. She handed it to me like I wasn't going to notice that she was essentially handing me a medium smoothie when I paid for a large one. She tried to hand me my bag of food immediately so I wouldn't notice or say anything, but I did. I asked why it wasn't full and she took it back to me and had someone make a new one. But, she never said sorry or said anything about the fact that she tried to short-change me. I was not impressed. I've been through a lot of drive-thrus and this is the first time someone at McDonald's tried to short-change me. The other thing that was frustrating was the fact that service was so incredibly slow. Being Canada Day and the last day of a long weekend, I wasn't at all surprised that it was busy. But they seemed to be unprepared for it. As a restaurant on the road to and from regular vacation areas, you'd think they'd be more prepared for the busy days. read more

Longest wait I've ever experienced for fast food in my life. We were stuck in the drive through for 35 mins yesterday (Wednesday June 29th) to get our food. One of the guys way ahead of us, was sadly pulled to the side for a pick up. The never brought his food out and had to go inside. By the time it was our time time to get our food up at the window. We politely mentioned about how it looks super busy for them and that we waited 35 mins. I expected and apology or even a joke about the national labour shortage. But instead the shirt haired lady at the pick up window, shrugged her shoulders and just closed the window!!!!! While it sucks to wait , it happens and places are short staffed. But the fact that window attendant just shrugged her shoulders and closed the window, just baffles my mind. Im not even mad, I think it's hilarious that my friends kindergartener in the vehicle was the first to call out 'wow that lady was rude, we had to wait like a 100 years' read more

Passing by from the city and I've never had a better experience at a McDonald's anywhere! I find I eat at McDonald's more than I'd like to admit and I would have thought that the food would be the same at all locations, it's not! This location was much better, you can tell they took care in assembling the McMuffins and the service was terrific! Puts all other locations to shame! read more
