Listen, this was not my first pick for a meal at this exit off the highway, in fact it wasn't even my second choice, but being defeated in the moment, I decided I would give it a shot. I pulled in after crisscrossing the road at least three times and decided to dine inside. I placed my order and waited for it to be ready. This place seems to be a busy place in town for both the locals and people getting off the highway to make a stop. I didn't notice the time passing while I waited for my food but soon enough my meal was ready. The order did come out right which was a pleasant surprise. I made my way to a seat and began to dig in. There's not much to really report on the food as we all know the type of food McDonald's has. By far the worst staff I've ever experienced at any restaurant anywhere in the world in my entire life. The employees I observed here were an absolute disgrace. There was nobody at the cash registers, and everyone in the back looked like they were having a social hour. They were laughing and joking and dancing and most of them didn't seem to be doing any work at all. I had to wait a minute or two for someone to take my order. During that entire time another customer was being ignored at the pickup counter, with his burger spread on the counter in front of him. He said he ordered a cheeseburger, and an employee asked what was wrong with it. The "burger" had clearly been wrapped in a cheeseburger (not hamburger) wrapper, but it only included the two parts of the bun and the patty. No cheese and no condiments of any kind. It looked pathetic. But the employees mostly ignored the man and proceeded to make fun of him back in the kitchen. I waited quite a while for my food, watching the staff in the kitchen playing around and hardly doing any "work" at all. When I finally got my food I realized I should check that it was correct. I pulled the Big Mac box out, and the box was coated in grease. I opened the box, and the burger looked like a joke compared to what you normally get. Some of the ingredients were missing, and it was a complete mess. But I wasn't about to complain, as I feared what the staff would do in retaliation. I think the only thing keeping this McDonald's in business is that they're in the middle of nowhere without many other dining options nearby. The only reason I had stopped by was that I was hungry during a road trip, and didn't want to drive another hour looking for something better to eat. read more

We walked in this evening and were not greeted at all. We stood at the counter for awhile while the staff of about 5 was joking & talking. One guy in a gray shirt was on a stool with his phone, one guy playing around with a broom, and the whole lot of them just ignoring us for about 3-4 minutes (or more). Finally the guy on the stool told the kid with the broom to get to the register. No one in drive up, no one in the dining room and it was about maybe 7:00 pm. We had a long day of driving and just wanted something cold. Took a long time before our Mac flurry's were ready.... and what a flipping MESS the whole thing was! They both were sticky all the way down the cup and wasn't anything I have ever seen before. Oh, and when we went to the table to wait for our order I saw there was a paper bag and some trash items left on a table. No one ever came out to clean tables and the bag was there the whole time we were...about 1 1/2 hours. Someone needs to get ahold of that staff and turn that store around! I was they are during the heritage festival on September 22-24, 2023. Decided to go there and purchase a couple of items since I had my great nephew with me. Unbeknownst to me that they did not offer the bundle, which we have in Harvest AL; only offered the BOGO free. I placed the order for our sandwiches decided to order fries with no salt. This manager placed our sandwiches on the counter while the fries were cooking (8-10 minutes). I asked, wouldn't the sandwiches be cold, and she smirk with a nasty attitude remark "no." We took our food to the festival and I did not receive the original Mcchicken sandwich, instead it was the spicy Mcchicken and the fries had salt. The sandwiches were subpar like they have been sitting for a while because they were dry and cold. There were no condiments/napkins included in the bag. I plan to never visit that location again during the p.m. Upon talking with other festival attendees, I discovered they had encountered similar treatment from the same young lady upon description. I know that the McDonald's franchise is unaware that they have someone of this magnitude representing their company. If so, they would either give her proper training or fire her. read more

Husband and I stopped to grab a bite to eat. We both have the mobile app and located the restaurant then entered our orders. The app did not take our payment ( working off 2 different apps and 2 different forms of payment). Then the app said the store was closed. Restarted order to scan at the kiosk and half of the kiosks were not in working order. Waited a bit and then just left because the people ordering ahead of us were not going to be done any time soon. Was traveling through the area while on a roadtrip and decided to stop by this mcdonalds. we went through the drive thru and sat at the speaker for 5 minutes with no answer. i backed up and pulled through the other speaker available where i was finally able to order. they was rude, rushy, i had to repeat my order several times before he got it right. fast forward to the second window where we receive our food, the guy had 3 cars in front of us waiting for food and had us pull to the side. when we finally got our food. it was WRONG. i immediately took our food inside. gave them the bag with my receipt. we stood in there for almost a hour waiting for them to fix our order. 4 employees saw me standing there watching them and came to ask what i needed. told each of them what was going on and absolutely nothing was being done about it. i even asked for a refund that i didn't get. in the meantime, every single worker in there was goofing off, laughing, making jokes, standing around on their phones, talking crap about other customers. read more

Not recommended. Ordering was a huge challenge, food took a while, was packaged badly, and was mediocre at best, every surface in the restaurant was dirty. No clean tables or floors, dirty and rusted drink dispensers and sinks, dirty restrooms, and trash all over the parking lot. Ceiling was covered in dirt around diffusers. Stopped to get dinner for kids and received the worst customer service. Young lady did not let me finish making order before cutting me off and sending me to the window. Had to place a second order only to be told I couldn't use the same form of payment for both transactions. Had to pay cash for one order and card with the other order. Received attitude when finally completed the second order. When going to the second window was told I had to pull and wait for two happy meals and made to wait awhile until we reversed back to see what the issue was and when we asked about a water bottle we didn't receive with the orders were given attitude as well. Terrible drive through experience. Drive through lines were very busy around 1300. Order was incorrect. Server was very rude. No masks worn by staff during pandemic. Sauce containers were all punctured, food was cold, and fries were warm (which boggles the mind with the amount of traffic they had, fresh food should have naturally occurred with just the turnover of customers). The young man finally came out and continued to open his straw and his juice box. Only then did he take her order. He got our order wrong then didn't apologize, just shrugged his shoulders and went to the back. While we were there, two other people had to shout to the back after waiting for service and one gentleman called him out for throwing condiments on the counter like it was a bother. So when we got to the window the girl told us their frappe machine was down and that they couldnt fix the charge for payment when i asked for a large sprite instead which was fine its just a few dollars. then we proceeded to ask for the sauce that we had ordered on the app and they told us we had to pay for it even though we had already ordered. And even with us not bothering with the charge overpay , they still tried to make us pay for sauce. We then found black curly hair in our fries. It has been a long time since I have seen a young fast food worker take so much pride in their work. She was friendly, kind, and went above and beyond packaging our food to go with care. This is the single nastiest fast food restaurant I have ever been in. From the filthy "welcome" mats to the unspeakably dirty restrooms, this location was awful. There was dried menstrual blood and bloody napkins on the floor of the restroom. The toilet paper holder was broken and blocking the toilet so someone had urinated on the floor instead. I could hardly wash my hands because the faucets were geysers and the surface of the counter was a lake. Aside from the lack of cleanliness, the service was terrible. One cashier working the counter with a line almost out the door? Unacceptable from a McDonald's. Also, there were no napkins, lids or straws available. Not a very well run location. The only thing good I can say about it is they have a nice restroom and it's conveniently located off the highway. We usually enjoy stopping at McDonald's but, if they don't do something real soon about the poor employees they have everywhere they are going to go under fast. We hear all the talk about how the employees want to make $15 an hour yet, almost every location we visit the service is about as poor as it's ever been. We've have been to some that are showing signs of new technology and automation. I think they need to move real fast toward automation and replace as many of the low skill employees as they can. read more

I would give this place no stars if I could. Don't tell me you can't take more than one order in the drive through from one vehicle especially when there is two people in the car. Poor customer service. Sounds like you are lazy or you have another motive for your actions? Sometimes the bill needs to be split for a reason. If I could hive a zero rating I would! I made a puchase on the app back on 10/24 and didnt recieve it (selected curside, waited for over 30 minutes so called them and got told to walk to the drive thru window with a long line of cars. The doors were locked and I didn't feel safe walking up to the window with all the cars in line. So requested a refund and got told to do it on the app from management. Well you can't get a refund from the app so called the customer hotline and was told I would be contacted by the owner and I have heard nothing. I called the customer hotline again 11/3 and 11/11 to be told again the owner is the only one who can refund me and will be contacting me soon) I'm extremely frustrated. Sure it's not a huge amount of money, but the point of the matter is I didn't get what I purchased and should be due a refund. Stopped here on the way to Nashville during lunchtime on a Friday. All the food was actually hot (French fries, burgers, nuggets). My crispy chicken sandwich actually looked appetizing with large pieces of fresh lettuce and a bun size patty. Y'all that seems rare these days. I haven't been in a Mickey D's this dirty in a looong time. Not just trash in the floor but in the grout!! And the "Caution Wet Floor" signs ARE out but floors aren't wet .... There slick!! Out of three things on the menu and the attitude I got from the cashiers was I should have known or had no business ordering that item.
