Navigator's log Stardate 98470.52. We had just finished out exploration of the Tennessee Safari Park; Making first contact with over 80 different species. Our next destination,, Bells Burger Basket station. Traveling at warp speed, we soon arrived at the station. The away team consisted of helmsman Deishu, and myself, navigator Tesshu. We beamed ourselves over. Our host greeted us, and I cordially mentioned how I heard they served the best burgers in Tennessee. This evoked a dejected chuckle. Deishu then asked what she'd suggest we try. To which our host replied.. The standard cheeseburger is what most people get.... Stardate 98508.82 We finally returned home for some shore leave; after having traveled some 7,500 miles, Deishu still recollects these as the best burgers of the trip. read more

4 star burger with 1 star fries! It's certainly not the friendliest of finds, but the burger definitely delivers. Frozen fries drop the score & no trash receptacles outside. Fun ambiance inside as you read the catchy signs as you await your order. read more

This place serves a huge cheeseburger! I had the regular one, and it was so filling that I skipped dinner afterward. It's a takeout and drive-thru-focused spot with no seating available. I placed a to-go order, and it definitely satisfied my appetite. read more

First time stopping at a hole in the wall place like this and I won't hesitate next time because it is actually a really good burger and also a good size I will post a few pics for reference and I have really large hands so keep that in mind. Place looks to be takeout only but the friendly service of the old lady at the front counter was nice. If you are in bills Tennessee and if you eat meat I suggest stopping here they have a large variety of foods to choose from this review is on the burger and the service. There is nowhere inside to sit as this is an old establishment there are picnic tables outside or you can sit in your car. Thats all for this review. read more

Burger was in fact good. However, the chili... pretty bad. Please take that off your special menu & don't do chili if you don't know how to make it. And, after checking, they charged me for a large chili vs medium. Ate a couple of bites & threw the rest away. read more

My fiancé and I love the food and service we receive at Bells Burger Basket!! We order chicken strip salads or Bacon-Cheeseburgers all the time!! And don't forget the cheese sauce to dip the fries in!!! The staff are all amazing and greet you with a smile when you pull to the window!!! read more

OMG: the real deal place for drive-in, old school, food in West Tennessee. Best burger in Tennessee? Let's say it is in the top five. Prices beyond reasonable--and generous servings fixed as you request. A big menu for a small place; friendly service too. The place looks like a small town dive and look for the many cars parked around. Some inside seating where you will meet lots of locals. The nice surprise? The spicy fries were really OUTSTANDING wedges--the match of any I have had in western states. And that is saying something. read more

Great place for home cooked fast food.. Nice local family owned business. I will always recommend coming here and getting a home-made burger rather then going to McDonald's and paying the same price for less food and less homemade taste. They have a huge menu which includes, nachos, hot dogs, salads, catfish, philly cheese steak, milkshakes, ice cream and even deep fried twinkies. This place is the type of hole in the wall restaurant we love going to. The burgers are fresh beef and a half pound in the regular burger and a full pound in the double. The fries are made to order. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They have a variety of menu items to satisfy anyone. They also have homemade desserts as well as ice cream and snocones. read more

Extremely kind hearted people!!!!! Our car broke down right as we reached Burger Basket and not only did we enjoy the delicious food we had driven in for we witnessed pure Southern Hospitality and Christianity at work. They helped us beyond our imagination the daughters husband towed our trailer free of charge to Brownsville they made calls to get us help offered all humanly possible help. I don't know if this review even can express how humbled I am by their love. May God bless them and their business and may they be successful at everything they touch. I would give a trillion stars if I could. The fact that we drove from far to buy the food should tell you how good the food is. read more

The best burger in Tennessee? No where close. It's not even the best burger in West Tennessee. However, it is a fresh hand patted home cooked burger. Just not anything spatacular. The onion rings, were a big disappointment. They were not the type that a previous Yelper had posted a photo of. To much onion and not enough batter. They do not have bottle water. Therefore, I ordered unsweet tea and It tasted old. They do have more than just burgers, such as chicken strips, chuck wagon and other assortments of sandwiches and even a few different types of salads. For a very small town like Bells, this place is great. It's just not worth the 25 minute from Jackson. read more

This is one of those pleasant surprise finds during an excursion day. We were hungry and had no idea what to expect and we almost drove on by. So glad we didn't. The first bite into the hamburger took me back as a kid when I used to eat steak burgers at my grandfathers restaurant. The flavor was phenomenal. The fries are crinkled fries. The burger and fries together were huge. I'm almost ashamed to say I finished all of it. Best yet, the place in front where we ordered and in the kitchen (back) are spotless!! Friendly staff, overall great experience. These are freshly made patties, not frozen and exceptionally cooked. The only improvement they could do for perfection (for me) is offer sesame seed buns. read more
