We each ordered a cold bottled beer to toast our outing which arrived immediately as we looked over the menu - we both started with a cup of chicken and sausage gumbo which was absolutely delicious and a amazing large portion for the price. My dad ordered one of his favorites, a nicely prepared ribeye steak cooked perfectly and hand cut fries and I ordered a pair of perfectly fried bone-in pork chops (so crispy and delicious) - we both skipped the side vegetables and mashed potatoes and opted for a chilled side salad to keep inline with our healthy entree and appetizer choices. The quality of the food was excellent, the service was outstanding and the prices beyond reasonable.
