This McDonald's location has received a consistent number of negative reviews from local Hamiltonians, with the exception of a five-star rating from a San Francisco visitor. There hasn't been a review since 2019. First, I'm breaking the four-year review-less mark for this eatery. Second, I'm also siding with the San Franciscan. This eatery is pretty good. Third, maybe my review is higher in rating because I did McDelivery and wasn't at the eatery. Perhaps this restaurant has improved over the years. Last month, I felt like breakfast from McD's. I go through phases with certain foods. These days, it's McMuffins and fruit. My McD's app offered free delivery, so I took advantage of it. I find delivery to be fancy and enjoyable. I ordered the following items: - Sausage and egg McMuffin - Sausage, egg, and cheese McGriddle combo (hash brown and medium Diet Coke) I had an early morning meeting. I took it first and then was hungry, so I ended up placing this order at 9:30 am. Delivery was smooth. I got my order just after 10 am. I asked that the Uber Eats driver place my food and drink in front of my hotel door, and knock before leaving. Drivers seem to like this method. I do, too. It's contactless and straightforward. I fetched my food from the door and had breakfast while enjoying a brief workday lull. I tend to start with the hash brown. I like that it was still crispy and yummy when I got it. Excellent! I love McGriddles. I wish that I could order one any time of the day. It's the perfect sandwich. Pancakes. Sausage. Egg, Cheese. Syrup. It's all in a neat bundle of pure joy. It was delicious. For good measure, I ordered a sausage and egg McMuffin. I wasn't sure how hungry I would be. I'm glad that I did. It was yummy and satisfied my late breakfast hunger pangs. I ordered a Diet Coke. I had already had tea in my room, so a fountain drink seemed fitting. It was cold and hit the spot. I loved it. My food was nicely packaged. No spills. No weird food accidents. Perfect! I had a great experience. I should check out this restaurant the next time I'm in the city. I'm curious to see whether it is the horrible place that it was a few years ago, or if it jives with my delivery food and drink experience. (444) read more

Every time we go to this McDonalds it takes over 10-15 minutes to get it. No matter what we order or when. We have gone at all hours and it is always the slowest McDonalds in the world. My girlfriend has also had some majorly undercooked French fries. Basically its a ok McDonalds food wise but the service is always extremely lacking. This location has the worst service and food. You always have to wait for a long time for your food and it's always cold and sometimes undercooked! Most of the staff who take your orders are very rude! They won't be getting my business anymore after today I waited 25 minutes for my food was missing items I ordered and the food was cold and the bacon on my burger was not even cooked. They are usually quick in drive-thru. The double drive-thru causes a lot of "road rage" as motorist don't merge properly, butt in front which causes order mixups at the window. When going into order, the service is slower than you can imagine. Drive-thru always gets priority. Ive waited up to 20 minutes for a burger and fries when ordering in the restaurant. My advice: use the road rage drive-thru and bring your order into the restaurant to eat. Much quicker. read more

When will the owner of this location get it? Your location has the worst food and service of any McDonalds I've ever been at. Your staff have the collectable grace of a chicken Mc Nugget!!! They take your money, and you never get what you pay for! I ordered a Mc Chicken tonight but I can assure you it didn't look anything like the picture on the menu. Isn't false advertising illegal in this country? You show a picture of a sandwich that looks like it might be worth the 6 dollars your charging, then you take my money and shove any crap you want in the bag. Thats theft man. To make matters worst, they hand me my bag of crap in a paper bag thats ripped open. When i pointed it out the young lady she just shrugged her shoulders and closed the window. I just pulled up to the drive thru at 5:50am. My work is only 1 minute from there so I had lots of time. I only ordered 1 mcgriddle breakfast sandwich, and I literally had to wait until 6:04 to get 1 thing! I was late for work and so ticked off and frustrated! This happened to me a couple of times before so I didnt go back, for a long time! Today, I thought I'd give them another chance because its been so long! I'll never go there again! Hands down worse McDonald's in Hamilton .. I can't even count how many times these absolutely disrespectful brain dead employees have screwed up my order. I have literally 1 out of 10 on simple orders correct. Order a big Mac with bacon and no onions or pickles. Receive a big Mac with extra onion and pickle with no bacon or lettuce. And yes the screen was correct so it wasn't a mix up ordering. These employees are very disrespectful to their management. I would continue the automated system from front of house to back. Very poor conflict resolutions skills. At 5:21 a.m., I drove up to place my order. The guy ahead of me was third in line to pay & pick up his order at the second window. By the time they took my order, he was at the window. At 5:27 a.m.,, he still hadn't been served and was refusing to move up to the next pick up window. When someone drove around me, I noticed that the two people behind me were being served from the 1st window but I was being ignored. They could have signaled me from the pickup window to go around irate guy to the 2nd pickup window, but chose to ignore me instead. So I drove around irate guy and went into the store only to watch the daft woman take two orders in three minutes and circle around like a confused penguin. By this time I was getting steamed too. (Irate guy at the window is still there.) When someone else took over from daft penguin, I asked for my coffee that I had ordered at the drive-thru. By this time it had been 10 minutes so admittedly I was rude (and shouldn't have been) but their apologies fell flat because I felt they hadn't made any attempt to serve me as they had the others behind me. And as predicted I was late for work due to the 10+ minutes I spent to get a coffee. (I would have abandoned the order, but did not feel that was the right thing to do either.) read more

Horrible service! This location is full of idiots. My office ordered a quarter pounder blt without cheese and bacon... We got a hamburger. Another girl ordered a mcchicken on the same order and received a Big Mac. 1 out of 3 orders were correct. Totally ridiculous. It's not rocket science people! read more
