I also looked at what the potential cost of parts and how long it would take to get them. I did a google search in the Hamilton area and found Ed's Appliances and Parts. I went in and met Nick the owner. What a wonderful, friendly man who was also very helpful. He was able to confirm what I thought was the issues and I ordered a new heating element and check valve. These were ordered on Apr 16 and was informed I should have them by the 19th. I received a call that they were in on the 18th! Everywhere else showed it would take approx two weeks to get the parts and I would have to pay shipping on top of their more expensive pricing. Unfortunately while reinstalling the dishwasher I broke the hose assembly. I think I had someone looking out for me because it really should not have broken that easily. I called Nick, my new best friend, who said he could have it by the next day. I highly recommend Ed's Appliances and Parts, Nick is very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. They also just brought in bicycles! If you are looking for anything, give Nick a call!!!

They aren't only knowledgeable but friendly and offered me a one stop pitstop and checked over the car to ensure it would be running smoothly at no additional charge! Also showed me upgraded tires for future rips. Also ordered me some clips for a bearing bracket that came loose at minimal cost, which I wouldn't have known otherwise. I was able to buy it online and go into the store to pick it up! They were super fast. I went into the store and let the associate know that I had an item I ordered waiting for me and they gave me my order almost instantly . I told the staff that I had been looking for this item for a while and they let me know that they had another location extremely close may have some more and they offered to phone them to ask them to put it on hold for me. They called and when I got to the other location the item was waiting for me behind the cash. Both stores have great service and a wide array of items. The staff is extremely attentive and willing to help!

The store was a little older looking but I realize that this sometimes allows the business owners to provide the clients with a better deal as they don't have high overhead costs. I ended up getting what I went in for plus some! I would definately recommend this store and I'll go back in the near future!
