We were traveling back home and we stopped by this McDonalds to grab a bite to eat. In my opinion, this is one of the better McDonalds. The food is good and the inside is for the most part clean. The only downside is the outside walls of the building look a little run down. If you want to eat fried chicken, come to this McDonalds. read more

This was a quick drive through visit while heading south towards the Arkansas border. The place was conveniently located off the main highway, the order was accurate, the lady behind the window was pleasant, and the food came out piping hot and fresh tasting. Terrible service, food not prepared as requested and was charged for up grades i didnt receive. Waited 19min at curbside , watching cars that came after me leave well before me at curbside and the drive thru. The female that brought out the order was rude and un apologetic, offered no verbal explanation nor compensation. Do not recommend. I WILL UPDATE THIS ONCE I SPEAK WITH THE STORE MANAGER. Genuinely the worst McDonald's I have ever visited. Currently drafting this review up after having waited 20 minutes and counting for an apple pie. The staff is non concerned and lazy. Might consider a staff that can complete simple tasks and orders in a swift and efficient fashion. Would not come here again even if I was starving. read more

So I been going here for about 2 years now. I think this store has given up or the owner don't care anymore or something. I use to be able to depend on this store for my food to be right and cook correctly and the right drink but not anymore at least the last 6 months anyway, I have had to complain at lest 6 or 7 times about wrong drinks or I waited 2 min in that side spot because the hash browns were not ready no biggie but when they brought me I bag I had to go back because the one thing I waited for was not in the bad. This morning the bisget was cold and very hard. It's been not go including the wait time seems to be longer at time. I am sorry to have to write this and now will go elsewhere because with my health problems I can't be late for my appointment and I have to eat in the mornings. read more

Pit stop for a road trip for us and our medium fry and both McFlurrys we received were half full. Service was slow and everybody was standing around goofing off. Bathroom has flies everywhere and we're not very clean. Would not recommend. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. We are in the middle of no where and came across an exit with food. This McDonald's was repulsive we didn't even eat here. You walk in and there are flies EVERYWHERE. I used the bathroom that was also swarming with flies and dead ones on the ground and sink. Absolutely would never eat here. read more

I pass thru Lamar, Missouri while visiting relatives, and usually stop at this McDonald's. Now they've rolled out their new McCafe coffee drinks -- I'm not one for lattes, but yesterday I had a regular coffee, and it was quite good.* Travel tip: If you're ever traveling Highway 71 thru Missouri (a pretty drive thru farmland), be sure to buy some freshly harvested, shelled pecans from a farmer at a roadside stand along the way. Yum! *It seems a bit odd when they ask "How many creams do you want?" and add it for me... like they do at Dunkin' Donuts. I requested one, which was adequate for a small coffee :-) read more

I can't say when I go to McDonald's I expect too much anyways, but this time is the worst. They are out of everything even receipt paper. Wanted tea but they were out, wanted quarter pounder but they were out, wanted a receipt but again they were out. There was a McDonald's truck in the parking lot that probably had everything they were claiming to be out of on it. Poor management makes for poor service. Prior planning prevents piss poor performance. Remember that and things like this won't happen. This isn't the first time I've been at this location and found them to be out of whatever I've ordered. I guess you get what you pay for but Lamar doesn't really have a good place to eat. Doubt I go back here for quite some time. read more

Came to this Mcdonalds on the way home from a long road trip. Ended up waiting at the speaker for a couple minutes before my order was taken. Got to the window and service was normal. But then I got my order, and there wasn't cheese on any of the things I got... which were supposed to have cheese. Other than that I suppose it was good, but man, cheese is a must. read more

I try really hard to give this place the benefit of the doubt, and if you come during non-rush times- they aren't half bad, but if you come during the rush (ESPECIALLY LUNCH RUSH) it's nearly always less than satisfactory. Today, in the drive thru, I ordered a large combo with a cheeseburger plan with only cheese. The person taking my order automatically rang me up for a coke without asking what drink I wanted. I then specified that I wanted a large combo with large fries and a large sweet tea. I got to the first window and asked to double check that it was in fact rang up with LARGE fries, as it didn't specify on the screen. The lady in the window said it did. Second window: I got my tea and got pulled forward to wait. Out comes a lady to my window who had the order for the car next to me, when I replied that the order she had was not mine, she loudly proclaimed "OH MY GOD" and sighed obnoxiously as she went to the next car. Later she brought out my order. Get this: MEDIUM FRIES, BURGER HAD EVERYTHING ON IT. Honestly this McDonald's needs to get its stuff together. read more

Worst experience of my life! Came here after a volleyball game and one of the workers were extremely rude to my team. She screamed at us and told us to be quiet. As she was doing our orders she had a horrible attitude. She wasn't wearing a name tag so I don't know who she is but she is younger and definitely does not deserve the respect of a customer if she is going to treat them like animals. read more

Late return trip. Not many choices in town. The simple menu of McDonald's sounded right. Drive thru seemed slow for 10 pm, but there were fussy patrons ahead of and behind us. Fortunately, we weren't in a hurry. The dude behind us was, and cut around after placing his order, messing up the sequence at the window. My order on the screen contained some of his items. Reason I'm sharing all this is just a lead up to big kudos for the kids working the window. It was clear they were enjoying working together, and it didn't matter that my chocolate shake was very vanilla. They offered to replace it, but I knew the other customers disrupted everything, so we just smiled and enjoyed it. My McDouble was one of the best I've had, obviously put together with care, unlike most stores that throw them together. We will return to this store. read more

So I have stopped here a number of times and they never get my order correct. One time I asked for sausage biscuit, I got a sausage, egg and cheese biscuit, I've gotten the wrong soda, I ordered cheese burger ketchup only and got cheese burger with everything. However unfortunately it is the only one for miles so I've always been ok with getting 50% of my order correct. Last night takes the cake. When I pulled up there was only one car in front of me. However I still waited over 7 minutes to get my food. Then as I was checking to make sure I got ranch with my child's nuggets, i ate a fry and it was cold so I asked if I could get some hot fries. I was told very rudely these had just been cooked so I told her she could feel them as they were not even warm to touch so she told me it would be another 3 minutes - though she had said these were fresh so not sure why - then after I pulled away we realized that as their usual they forgot to put the apples in the two happy meals. I can accept a restaurant that give the wrong food but for the girl to be that rude on top of it will make me avoid this place from now on and drive out of my way to find a different one. read more
