Wow. Amazing fish and chips. Moved to SE Kansas in 2021 and have been on a quest for fish and chips. Theres zippo here in Pittsburg. No such thing as fresh cod hand dipped. Same old frozen fried. And sorry, not a catfish fan. And even that is frozen fried. Nothing beats hand dipped and fried cod fish. Tropicana in Joplin puts out a delicious plate of fish and chips and has been my go to place. Read a review of Culvers fish and chips. Im here to tell you, Culvers puts out an excellent plate of fish and chips. And yes, hand dipped COD! ordered the three piece and have nothing but praise. It was hot, fresh and crispy. All 3 pieces were same size. Coleslaw was very good, tarter sauce matched perfectly to fish. Crinkle cut fries were hot and tasty. And they actually had real lemon wedges versus those messy squeeze packs of fake lemon. I didnt take any chances and brang my own malt vinegar and cocktail sauce to officially make it a feast. I was all smiles from ear to ear as i dined. The restaurant was well staffed with friendly staff. The servers wore matching uniforms and looked cute wearing pony tails. I was so impressed I asked to speak to the manager who I gave a flowing review and congratulated for my wonderful experience. Moved here from California and had never heard of Culver's. This place is pretty good. Prices are good. The menu variety is good. My wife said the fish cod sandwich was really good. Been here about 10 times now and it's always been pleasant. Carlos at the register is usually the one that takes my order and this man definitely has Customer Service skills as I'm sure the rest the employees do as well. Service thats quick and well trained. Similar to Andy's or Chick-fil-A, the staff has a great attitude and treat customers with respect and a smile. I think the buyers are just ok, better than McDonalds but about the same as Wendy's. But thats not why we come to Culver's. They have unusual sides, actually healthy sides such as fresh green peans served like finger food, or this time brockly presented to eat with your fingers. Also they have the best fast food fish sandwich in town. Better than anyone else, fresher, crispy, on good bread and fresh veggies. They have great shakes, floats, and Northern Midwest custard which is where they are from in Wisconsin. They also have real Wisconsin cheeses on their sandwiches and burgers. Good cheese can make the sandwich. This isn't fake plastic cheese either. In short the ingredients are better, the service is better and the options are original and sometimes unexpected. This type of attitude is something that you take notice of - it typically carries through in other ways and is indicative of great character and work ethic. The restaurant was clean and agreeable. Most of our order was very good; however, we wished there was more broccoli provided, and our concrete mixers melted in minutes, before we had made it back out to the car. In the area for road trip detour to catch up with family...and looking for a early dinner. Culver's was in the prime location. Walked in and was greeted promptly. Ordered To-go and waited while it was made fresh. The order was delivered in a timely manner and all flavors were delicious. The lobby was clean as were the restrooms. The cost was reasonable and the food was hot. I had a mushroom Swiss Burger that I noticed on the menu (never seen it before) it hit the spot....Its a pretty good location and I will return when in the area. We frequent this Culver's because it's close to our house and better than most "fast food" restaurants. They have a delicious Cranberry Bacon Bleu salad (I get it without the bleu cheese). My husband really loves their cheese curds, and my son likes that he can get chocolate milk with a kids meal. We save up all the ice cream coupons and kids meal tokens and use them for free ice cream/kids meals. The people are friendly, and we've always had great service. read more

Stopped off on a trip for lunch. My husband ordered his usual chicken + onion rings. When the order came, his food came as just the chicken. He pulled the receipt and realized they had just charged him for chicken + fries. But either way was missing the fries. He avoids restaurant meal confrontation and would rather just eat what he had, but went back up to the counter. After explaining that he ordered onion rings but they only charged fries, but he got neither, the only reconciliation offered was to ring him up for an additional onion ring for his order. Even though he had already gotten charged for fries that he didn't get either. In the end, he did NOT get given his fry they charged him for, and he wasn't about to pay full price for an additional side when it should have been on his meal and had already been charged for a side that wasn't received and they wouldn't give him. Culver's is a chain. I normally avoid these kinds of spots. Meanwhile, after driving from Wichita to Bentonville, Culver's was the first edible spot I'd seen in three hours, so I stopped. Unlike McDonalds, Burger King, Wendy's and the other slough of chains you find in this region, Culver's tends to offer slightly better than average food and better service, which was clearly true after a pit stop here. I've eaten at a few of these in Illinois and Wisconsin where they litter every city and this one rivals those. Why come to Culver's? It's affordable, the food comes out quick and the burgers taste much better than the above mentioned chains. Simple as that. read more

I have so many fond memories of this Culver's. I've been a customer here since my mom brought me for the first time when I was in the 1st or 2nd grade. It sort of became a tradition for my mom and I to grab a butter burger after football games, school events, or just as apart of a "girls day." The service is always so good, and I personally love that almost all of the employees I see working here still wear their masks when handling food. Very appreciative of that!! Just what you expect from a Culver's. I generally avoid all fast food, but once or twice a year, especially if traveling, the kids and hubs win out and we stop for fast food. We don't have Culver's in Louisiana so these are a real treat. I think they are a class above the typical fast food options. Restaurant and bathrooms were clean. Diaper changer in women's bathroom (maybe men's too but my hubby didn't look). Staff was very friendly and engaged the kids. Food was tasty as always. My daughter always loves the coloring pages. Well, I am new to this area, so I asked the lady taking my order for a suggestion. She asked if I liked a Ruben sandwich, I do, she said that they make it very well. She was right! This is a great addition to Webb City. They are actually a custard restaurant, not ice cream. But they also serve food, hamburgers and the like. They also have ice cream cakes. They are a little pricey. read more
