In recent years, a number of new restaurants have embraced this ideology, creating a new fast food category, Indian fast food. Twisted Indian is the latest chain to bring this to market, offering a fun selection of Indian street foods full of flavor. Taking it one step further, they create hybrid offerings that incorporate traditional fair such as burgers, pizza, burritos, paninis, and turn them into Indian versions that elevate them. In our last visit, we tried a number of items... The Naanza, Naan Wrap, The Naanwich, Masala Fries and more. All were excellent! In these options, we tried the Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka and Beef Curry proteins, along with basmati rice and various toppings including pickled onions, cilantro, jalapeños, hot chutney, garlic lime sauce and more. All the items were hot, fresh and packed full of flavor. If you're looking for something new to try, that's a fun new take on fast food, Twisted Indian is definitely worth a try. Highly recommended.

My hot flat white was hot. My hot latte was room temp. Guess the barista doesn't know how to use the milk steamer? The coffee was sour, not milk sour but bean sour. I can't believe I'm saying this, but just go to Tim Hortons instead. You would save so much money, and have a much better coffee.

That was last Saturday and today is the first day I don't have dia**hea. I brought it back to the bar. Several waitresses and a manager (or owner?) came to my table and apologized profusely. They said they'd take care of the bill. I assumed they'd cover my guest as well. I was still in shock, so I didn't check my receipt. I just was my credit card receipt, and they only reimbursed my meal - I guess that's right since I didn't eat it all. They did give me 3 cookies and they were delicious. My body turned those to liquid for later evacuation. We are suffering from a serious service problem and a severe lack of resolution. I really need to learn to make a bigger fuss. It's too bad that a more vocal person that me would have gotten more out of this. Terribly embarrassing. This place is heaven for your inner geek. Old school board games, a pac man machine and a war-hammer painting station line the walls and floor of this place. We ordered a London fog from the counter. I was excited to see a beautiful selection of teas, there was definitely an emphasis on oriental teas and not as much variety as say, a David's tea but still very nice and a lot of nice lattes and mixed tea drinks on their menu. The London fog was actually fantastic and different from any I've ever had and the girl serving us was bubbly and nice. The strangest and most interesting part of this place has to be the single barbers chair and barber cutting hair at the back of the store. This guy has his own little studio at the back of this coffee shop and it seems to be popular. One of the servers had to turn away a client and said that he was booked up for the day. As a regular customer I also stop by for a coffee or tea whenever I visit Cobourg; however today I was very disappointed by the unfriendly customer service. Today I was downtown shopping in -20C weather and left my cellphone at home by accident, I did not take my vehicle and really needed to make an immediate phone call. I asked the barista to use the phone and she stated that the shop did not have a phone. I then ordered a latte and politely asked how the coffee shop receives phone calls from customers. She stated that the phone belonged to the owner. I then asked her to ask him to borrow his phone. I heard him say a flat out no (she returned with the excuse that he did not have his phone)- not only was this a blatant lie but was a great inconvenience to me. ...great way to help customers in freezing weather.
