There was a short line when I got there, but it moved quickly and I put in my order for one chili cheese dog and one with chili, kraut and mustard. I've always loved the dogs here. I know they used to use Grote and Weigel dogs and they SEEM like the same ones I've always loved so perhaps they are still the same. Either way, the dogs were GREAT. I dont mind traveling for dogs, but this is a little outside my normal range to be too regular. We sat at the bar and the staff behind the rail barely paid attention to us and seemed ambivalent about our presence at best. The biggest issue for me happened when I went to the men's restroom and found the soap dispenser completely empty. On the way back to my seat, I mentioned it to the hostess so it could be addressed by the staff and asked if she had any hand sanitizer. She just told me it was her first day on the job and she didn't know who to ask about either. Leaving a restroom without soap is bad enough, but a front-of-house staff member completely brushing off a basic hygiene issue because she didn't want to find a manager is just really bad customer service.
