The last two times i have gone through the drive i order and half way ordering they say pull up to the next window instead of letting me finish. They need better training and better service. The staff at this place don't give one shit about service or quality of food. I swear they do the things they do on purpose. Cheese on the outside of buns, folded burger patties, completely wrong drinks with nothing but ice in the cups, double double coffees served black. Then they argue with you. They turn their backs on people when they complain, and walk away. The restaurant is very rarely clean, I hate to think how disgusting the whole play area is. This place is a health hazard as well as staffed with the worst possible staff to work in fast food. The store is closed most mornings even though they advertise 24 Hour. They seem to be out of food so often they can only be either wasting it or stealing it. Last time I ever patronize this restaurant. Never fail to disappoint. Poor service - staff with poor attitude and got customized order wrong 5/10 times. Food is ok but sub-par compared to other McDonalds. During peak hours it has up to 10 minutes to get order ready. Location is on main route (Hwy 7) but parking is limited...ant design to accommodate RVs or trailers. read more

An early-am breakfast and pit stop for us (senior couple and daughter) on our way to Hope (and environs) last week We entered armed with coupons for their 'breakfast meal deal' (= breakfast sandwich, potato patty, and coffee) - it seemed like a "just right for the time" breakfast for our morning travel. It worked out well -- the restaurant was not busy, rather quiet, very clean, the food prepared rather quickly, and it "hit-the-spot" to tide us over for the rest of the trip. read more

How can anyone skews up a McDonald's order? When the vehicle in front of you has ordered so much and will take time to fill, you send them to the pick up location in the parking lot. You do not make the person behind wait!!! Obviously my order was filled prior to theirs. The bag was not closed, the burger was slightly warm and the fries were cold! I asked for a straw, the reply was it was in the bag. Really, there was no straw. I don't eat McDonalds ofter and this is probably why. Children have no business running the show!!! This McDonald is clean and it also has a play park which is also clean (with hour restrictions from 9am to 8pm). The only issue I have is the service. It seems like the person ringing the order doesn't know what he is doing. He constantly make mistakes. For my my meal, I ordered the Delactable bacon & Cheeseburger meal and the person for got my drinks. My friend ordered the chicken nugget by itself and the server made it a meal. But looking at the cashier, he was the one handling money and putting orders together and he does seem like he looked exhausted. Terrible late night staff! I work night shifts, and sometimes on my break I'll pop over to get something to eat. On more occasions than I can count, I have a driven up only to find the doors locked and the drive-through closed. In huge letters it says 24 hour outside! Tonight, I ordered two burgers, one of which was an Angus. Getting home, They had simply taken a quarter pounder patty, put it on an Angus bun in an Angus box, without any of the toppings etc., and still charges me for an Angus. What can I say? Have been coming here for years. The Lady at the cash window weekday mornings is a real customer service pro. Friendly, helpful and efficient. Great morning first contact! Otherwise this store is often slow, often the food is cold and the long waits at the late night drive-through are without equal. Recently I was reprimanded by a kid of maybe 16 for not producing my coupon in a timely manner. This kid will fit right in as a future call centre operator. Waited too long. The fries were old and the 1/4 pounder with cheese was room temperature. The cheese was not melted at all. When we returned it the manager was very rude and did not acknowledge what I said. She grabbed it, turned around and tossed it in the garbage can, and told her employee to make another burger. The only word she spoke to me was "quarter" when she put the new one down on the counter. Which was an equally gross looking burger and was missing the cheese. Well MacDonald's Has out done its self again. It seams that at 4am every morning this week and probably longer there system go's down or there not taking orders at or around that time. This time I sat in the drive thru for 10 mins waiting, no one came on the speaker. When I drove up to the window I was greeted with "what" I asked If anyone was working the drive thru and if I could order something. I was told our system is down. I then asked if I could have the Managers Name and Number so that I could contact them about this problem that keeps happening at 4am. The young girl looked confused like I asked her whos on first. She stated that she didn't know the general managers name or number, to witch I replied I'm asking for your store's manager's name and number not the GM and again she replayed I don't know. To my shock I said you don't know your store managers name or your store number???? I then had to ask for someone in charge and I got another young girl who also seamed confused about my request for the stores managers name and number. I was getting very frustrated with the conversation that was taking place with these too individuals. Its like I was asking them to solve Pie. Finally the person who was in charge and I use that loosely wrote down the store managers name and get this not the stores phone number she gave me the store number. This location is stupid im never going back. Its always soo busy. I waited for 1.5 hrs in the drive thru line. They messed up my order so had to go inside. I ordered 2 big macs they gave a me one normal big mac and one that was just the lettuce and cheese in a salad container. I was so confused. Horrific bathroom experience. Safety hazard. My 4 year needed to go and we walked into something out of a junkies paradise. - we opened up the stall to find a half dozen needles and weird paraphernalia scattered all over the place. In the floor, in the toilet. - "don't touch anything buddy!" and guided him out. - there was a stollen purse in the garbage - garbage everywhere.. tiny bits and pieces of paper and of whatever the tweakers were doing in there. Weird looking - filthy . Piss everywhere What if someone where to let there child in there on their own?? - This is a buzz-in bathroom to selectively allow customers (not people off the street) access to their facilities. They are obviously not monitoring this and buzzing in whoever. It just so happened they buzzed in a VERY sketchy individual off the street while we were carefully leaving the bathroom. Who was caught in the stall doing whatever while staff went in to clean up. Our safety was jeaprodized. Your staff's safety is jeaprodized for having to clean that up. read more

So yesterday I went to Mcdonalds on my bike to get 2 Mcdoubles and a large Coke. Now I'm a little lazy to go in and I don't want my bike stolen, so I decided to ride through the drive thru on it. So I got in the left lane, and at first nobody answered. Then I tried the right lane, and nobody answered there either. So I went back to the left lane and waited. Just then, a car went through in the right lane and had their order taken. I knew right there that there were just ignoring me. So after 5 minutes, I just went up to the window and asked the lady why she never took my order. She said "Yeah, we can't serve you unless you're in a vehicle". So I said "Ma'am, bylaw a bike is considered a vehicle, so you actually can serve me". So she just gave in and took my order. I paid and then headed up to the next window to get my food. And the lady there gave me the food, but she then said "So next time you come here, you can't come through on your bike". I said ok as I didn't want to be an ass. But then the lady who gave me the food called out to the lady I gave the money to and told her to not serve me next time if I come through on my bike. I was pissed, as that was really disrespectful to me. Both ladies made me deal with intimidation, discrimination, and disrespect. The intimidation was from the ladies trying to be all adult like and authoritative when they said I can't come through on my bike. The disrespect was when the food lady called out to the money lady telling her not to serve me, which was something she didn't have to do. And the discrimination came from me not being served just because I was on a bike, which is considered a vehicle bylaw. Very horrible service from those two ladies. Next time, it'll be Burger King, Dairy Queen, or A&W for me. read more
