The older woman taking my order was very unkind, impatient and snapped at me when I was like "oh, so breakfast ended give me just a second" because my app was still giving me coupons for breakfast. Just an update...after a complaint to corporate, I was assured that the franchisee would contact me. So far, crickets. Every time I see one of the new QPC commercials with the juicy beef and overflowing condiments, I remember how much the Monaca QPCs sucked...and how actually serve them that way at the Beaver McD's. Composite -- this D's is in line re service and product with all others. I am unable to discriminate on any real groups between them. Somedays you get a great service person, other days, not so great. But MD's has built its reputation on being nearly the same in every country. I've had good and bad experiences with this McDonald's. Luckily, today was a good experience. I just stopped because I wanted an ice coffee and Starbucks wasn't open yet so I didn't have much choice but it was actually good. I wouldn't compare it to Starbucks coffee but it tasted good. The person that took my order and money was extremely nice and helpful. They did good this morning. I also didn't have to wait in a huge line either. They were getting people out very quickly. Service during the day isn't usually good but in the mornings, they seem to be doing well. read more

I really, really like the Monaca McDonald's. Even though you know you're just pumping yourself full of venom, you find yourself craving it and eating it anyway. This McDonald's seems to be one of corporate's "models" because they always seemed quicker to have new items as opposed to others and they keep the place sparkling. I stopped here countless times during my five-year stint as a Penn State student; usually for breakfast on my way to school. I like that the staff is on point and coordinated. I never had a bad meal here, and the service is so quick, especially if you walk into the store. Plus, they have a 10% discount if you show your Penn State ID card! read more

Can't trust any McDonalds anymore. It's sad I loved going to McDonalds I try to go still but I'm so untrustworthy of them. Any McDonald's I've been to and I get a fresh beef patty it's been some amount of raw. Like 95% of the time I've sent burgers back due to it being just pink in the middle. I almost always get no understanding or kindness when I go to take it back . So now every time I'd get a burger I have to cut in half I can't trust it . This is from the mother of a former employee posted on facebook. It breaks my heart that this actually happened, I feel I've done a pretty good job raising my kids to treat everyone equally, not make fun of others, and respect ALL humans and animals. Chandler, my son, worked at the McDonald's in Monaca Pennsylvania. A week ago, a group of young employees were working in the back of the kitchen, another employee dropped an egg, all the employees started chuckling and giggling ( something a group of teenagers all do) not by any stretch of the imagination was anyone making fun of anyone, everyone was laughing including the boy who dropped the egg. The manager on duty, Jen,at the time came to the back of the kitchen, not to find out what happened, and began making accusations. The statement made to Chandler was "How would you like someone to laugh at your RETARDED sisters?".........( I am still in shock, not only did she use a cruel degrading adjective to describe my daughter's but she actually said it to my son!!!!))) Chandler asked Jen to please stop referring to his siblings like that, and she continued and wouldn't drop it, so my son walked out of his job. In the meantime, he contacted the head Manager at the Monaca, PA McDonald's, Chrissy, to explain why he walked out, Chrissy is siding with her Manager, Jen, and keeping Chandler on the list so he can never been employed by ANY McDonald's again. This breaks my heart on so many levels, I can't believe people look at my girls and see that word ( retarded) all I see is beauty, that someone of authority still continues to drag people down like this.. and for my daughter Leah who doesn't speak or understand the situation, I refuse to take her into one of her ABSOLUTE FAVORITE places to eat now. She manages to spot those big Golden Arches regardless of which direction I come through Monaca to "signs" the word eat. But I just CANNOT spend money at a place where my girls are completely disrespected. I WILL NEVER purchase anything from Monaca McDonald's again, I will be driving to other locations from now on. read more

I have never rewritten a yelp review ever but I felt appalled to make one considering the ATTITUDE I got from an employee today. The food was great no complaints BUT nikki or Nicki whatever was entirely rude to me when she handed me my food. I was very happy and had a good day and just wanted mcdonald's but when NIKKI handed me the food she rolled her eyes at me and didn't say a word... I said thank you! and she grunted under her breath and walked away. Completely strange considering all employees there are nice... but nikki's attitude was completely unacceptable read more
