We topped this feast off with a (generous!) scoop of ice cream, extending the time for people-watching at our window table. Customer traffic was steady, but the vibe was quiet on this weekday lunchtime. Why not 4 stars? The croissant and brioche bun made a nice change, but a healthier bread option, multi-grain and/or whole wheat, for both would be appreciated. We don't get to Newberry often, but Laila's is now on our list!
