They asked for our receipt after waiting for about 30 minutes to get our food. We had no receipt because as always there is no paper in the kiosk. By this time our food was missing... Didn't get our order till about waiting 45 minutes later and watching door dash pick up orders... At this point I could have gone to the Aransas Pass McDonald's and been home eating already and they never have lost our order and my burger has NEVER been this GREASY!! read more

One of the few restaurants open very early in the morning (before 5am). It takes a long time to be acknowledge at the drive thru, (longer than 2 minutes). Even to tell you "I'll be right with you". If you're acknowledged at all. The service is SLOW. Too many times I've had to drive away because the food was taking too long. There are always employees just wandering around or just standing there, while there is a double line of cars, six deep. read more

Came to visit my hometown for the day. Decided to stop by as my son requested. I ordered ahead of time on the app. Once I got there, there was about 5 cars in line. I waited about 30 minutes only to get to the window and they didn't know my order. It was finally received and I went to open it only 5 minutes down the road to notice everything was disgusting. Burger was cold, nuggets cold and could tell had been sitting and fries were the worst. They were covered in grease crumbs, cold, and couldn't even eat them. I also ordered an ice cream sundae which was soup as they handed it to me. I never complain as I own a restaurant myself but this order was a huge NO. read more

Just got my $5 bag for supper. McDouble was awesome. Nuggets were fresh. Fries were still warm (to go order) when I got home. Not sure about all the negative posts here, but we ate lunch there today and had an excellent experience, especially since our hometown McDs in Aransas Pass totally SUCKS!! Portland was clean, fast and friendly. The food was hot and perfect. The ketchup dispenser even worked, never in AP. This place is either a hit or miss. If you come late at night you'll wait in line forever! No doubt about it. Staff is not properly trained. Something is either always broken, or they do not have a product on hand. Most of the time order accuracy is not on point. Literally had a line to the road at 11:45 pm and had everyone waiting at least twenty minutes to place an order. If this place is going to be open all night I suggest getting the proper software to not have to close for a few min each night and have full staff on hand. read more

Manager/employee basically said FU to the disabled community by parking their car in the marked area between two disabled parking spots. This spot is there to allow the disabled a space to enter and exit their vehicles. But manager/employee must have thought the hell with them this is more convenient for me. No other customers in the store at the time so had to be manager/employee. So disrespectful. read more

Wed. April 3 2024 8:25am went thru the drive thru and gave my order to the young lady. However before I could review my order she cut me off audibly and went to another customer. I could tell by the price on the screen she didn't get my order correct. At this point I need to point out the girl was talking 90 miles an hour and for this old Texan (76) I didn't understand a word she said. Now it's good she probably has her corporate the speak but at the expense of enunciation. Oh, and while I'm here, the menu board has been broken for a month or more on the outside lane drive thru. Anyway I get to the pay window and tried to explain my order was apparently wrong. She's still talking faster than anyone can understand, so I said MA'AM, MA'AM your still getting my order wrong. Slow down! At this point she tells me I'm yelling at her (I can't yell, my voice is too deep, however it does come from my diaphragm as a projected voice too many years in construction.) Anyway she gets mad at me and runs to her boss. The manager, I assume, got me taken care of and I went to the next window. No problem. What I would like to see from this, is, the employees slowing their speech down so someone can comprehend what they say. The management needs to go thru their own drive thru to hear what we hear. Someone that doesn't know their corporate monologue so they don't know the words the employees are supposed to say. And just a personal note, find someone with a baritone voice that two octaves above C is hard to understand. Thank You. read more

The only thing I wanted was a ived coffee and blueberry muffin, and they are out of both! So I ordered a Dr Pepper and a apple fritter at 2 am, no one else anywhere in sight and they still managed to take 10 mins to give them to me. Lady said the muffins are in the freezer so tell me can you only serve so many a day? Or was it pure laziness that they didn't pull more out when they sold the last one? I have lived in Portland for 30 years. I usually stop by Mcdonalds a few times per month. No More!!! I ordered from the dollar bundle menu and was short-changed on the food they gave me. when I complained to the manager, I was told that the order taker understood wrong, but If I wanted the extra item in the bundle I would be charged for it. I protested that Mcdonalds' made the mistake only to hear sorry that is our decision. Gone are the days when the customer is right. They screwed up my order and flatly refused to fix it. For some reason the yahoo in front of me had a problem in the drive thru. (It looked like she had not paid at the first window. Sheesh.) I had akready oaid for my meals, wish I hadn't, would have left. After 10 minutes in line, aftet paying, I get my food. My cold, stale tasting food. When I asked the young man at the pickup window why he didn't have her pull up so the test of us could get our food (4 cars waiting in line behind me, 2 others gave up and left), his response was he had just gotten to the window.
