OK, so I am at the McDonald's on red Oaks certainly understand that sometime the drive-through get a little packed but I am at the drive-through and I just tried to ask a question. How about I tell you that once the order was taken questions were not being answered no way know how I couldn't continue to say hey excuse me excuse me no one replied. Stopped today for a quick lunch. Got the bacon quarter pounder (drive through). There was one car in front of me so the wait in line was very short. They took my order and was very polite. Waited to pay at the first window, took about a minute or so and moved to the food window. Food and drink was already to go hardly even had to stop at that window was so fast. Pulled over to eat as I did not want to wait till I got home to eat. Burger and fries were spot on. Super fresh! Have been to this McDonald's many times and I think there has only been one issue during those visits. Definitely will continue going back to this establishment. read more

Service is terrible here. Employees cannot get your order right. They spend time chatting with each other rather than paying attention to the customer. Long waits. Just spent 22 minutes in line for a single meal. Had to pull up to the line and wait (again). When meal was delivered, no straws, no napkins. Had to wait for straws. With the meal so expensive, service should be far better. Never going here again. read more

This is a typical McDonalds so it's not fine dining. I consistently get fast service and the majority of the time my order is 100 percent correct. I usually only go for a quick breakfast and the entire staff is friendly and welcoming. AND they are serving breakfast all hours of the day. Terrible establishment placed order via web app. It let us know when arrive for curbside pickup. When we arrived after checking in that order would be out shortly waited 10 minutes at curbside area. Finally went to see what was up and lobby door was locked. Went to drive thru window and told they had lost power and just came back on line. Food would be at least a hour. Asked to cancel but app would not allow as it was showing as prepared. Told I need to call 800 number byt that was Grubhub and they couldn't help. Went back to store again for refund told to call customer care. They told me file a case complaint which I did 4 weeks later no answer or help no refund and three follow up complaints told it was being elevated for a refund but still nothing. After years of being a loyal patron of McDonald's we are done and will no longer do business with this or any other McDonald's or as We call it today "McRipoff" take money no food and no follow up even from corporate office read more

I usually don't leave reviews for fast foods but when I tell you I absolutely hate this McDonald's, I hate it! The staff lack customer services and it's always a rude/unfriendly person working the drive thru or they're playing. I've even encountered one of the workers on the phone in the drive thru. I've never worked fast food but I do believe you're supposed to greet the customers when they approach the speaker. Not at this McDonald's, they either say go ahead or you'll have to yell at the speaker to get service. Like wth?! They really need to teach their employees about customer service. read more

It baffles me that a line can be almost to the street and after making it to the window they tell you sorry we are only taking cash. That would be a nice to know before waiting 15 minutes. They probably don't have the staff to even coordinate that notification though. I guess this was the universe telling me to keep McDonald cash on me. read more

Fries were like warm, over cooked and visually unappealing. Tasted bad. Straight to the trash. The new chicken sandwich was surprisingly good. Went inside since the dining room is open and was surprised to see how on clean the bathrooms in the dining room were given the fact that I've had months to detail clean them. Typical slow service, due to the fact they take care of drive thru first and walk in. Lets see its fast food. Food is normally fine if you can get all of it. So last visit I ordered three pack of cookies and only got two. One star only because my granddaughter likes their chicken nuggets. The front staff are very rude. The manager did not care that they were rude. If you order a medium iced coffee the cup is only half full. This place is dirty. Red oak needs to add a better variety for the kids friendly places to eat. read more

Im not trying to be rude or impatient. I work at a restaurant and personally understand being busy or short staffed, and taking a little longer than usual. My issue is it took a full hour to get two burger meals, two ice creams, and three drinks. We didn't get anything offered to us for the wait, or even a nice apology would have been enough. The food was good, about as good as you'd expect McDonalds to be, and I do enjoy the food they have. I'm not going to say I don't recommend it, but the service could have been better. read more

Lets face it, a McDonalds is a McDonalds is a McDonalds when it comes to originality or uniqueness.. but they do serve a few tasty things, and now,, they serve breahast 24-7m and that is wonderful thing ! And it really works ! I was able to order an Egg McMuffin at 8 pm. And I am glad they now have Dr Pepper for us die-hard Texans. I have no complaints but I can only award 4 stars because there is not much personality when its McDonalds. read more

When I moved here to Red Oak I thought "great! There's one down the street!". Now I was warned about this McDonald's but I figured my fiancé was just a McHater. What a rude young manager we experienced this morning. Difficult to place order as couldn't understand the drive in operator so had to add the drink at the window-then had to drive up & wait. When manager brought it, my husbands drink wasn't included so manager went back & when he returned said we'd cancelled for my drink which wasn't the case - told manager that we'd not done that & he turned around & walked off...what poor customer service. No matter how long I wait in between visits to this establishment, the service is always the same! It sucks! When they read my order back to me 3 times and still get it wrong at the window and then still want to charge me for their mistake, that's a problem! All that was missing was some fries!! Restrooms were really clean and the staff were nice. The food can out quick and since it was morning the food was hot. I always get a smoothie from McDonald's and usually there good, but this time the drive thru lady was like, "Would you like to try one our Frappuccino?" and I was just like "Sure why not." I rarely go to McDonald's and particularly this location even though is closest to home. I may stop occasionally for coffee. Today I decided to grab lunch and the lady was pleasant enough over the speaker. It started going downhill when she asked if I wanted bbq sauce. I wasn't ordering a sandwich that came with that. No worries, I can excuse that. Before I could even finish my order, she assumes to tell me the drink I want. No ma'am Dr pepper is not okay. Is it okay for me to order for myself please?????? At the window, so did let her know that she did come across rude by doing that. She said that wasn't the intention but since people don't know what they want to order, they were told to suggest drinks. Seriously?!?!? The menu isn't that expansive as far as drinks are concern... Either coke or Pepsi products, tea and water. To me, that is just a ploy to keep your drive thru times low.
