Crispy chicken was very good. Wife had the regular and I had the spicy deluxe. Both were excellent but note the "deluxe" is messy if you're eating in your car. Lobby was open for ordering. Not sure if dining room was open. Service at the drive through was very slow. Very easy access on and off of I-70. read more

I was passing through Russell while coming home from college decided to stop for some food and my parents will usually order food for me on their apps that they have since I'm in college and don't have the money to go out to eat As we have done many times before my dad ordered on the McDonald's app for me to go pick up my food. I waited patiently for about 15 minutes and still hadn't gotten my food so decided to ask the lady at the front went and got her manager because my order wasn't showing up As this has happened before, because my dad forgot to click I'm already here When the manager came out, she was very, very, very rude, telling me that it Wasn't possible for my dad to order me food without his phone physically being there I had told her that we do this all the time where I go to school and whenever I try to explain the situation, she would continue to get rude and snobby and finally told me she was going to call the other stores and just walked away without offering me my money back telling me she's sorry for the inconvenience or tried to help me out in anyway some of the worst customer service I've ever had. Like I said where I go to school, we have two McDonald's and me and my dad have never had a problem with him, ordering me food and me picking it up until today at this location. read more

Clean restaurant with fast and friendly service. I stopped by this McDonald's to grab breakfast while I was on the road traveling and was able to get my food quickly and served to me with a smile. I love the tv monitor above the front counter that shows what orders are ready for pick up and what orders are being worked on. My breakfast burritos were great with the hot and mild salsas they gave me and the caramel frappe was delicious! read more

Absolutely the best service I have had at any mcdonalds to date. The drive thru was fast, the cashier was friendly and courteous. And my sausage mcmuffin was the best I've eaten. The muffin was hot and soft, cheese melted over hot freshly cooked meat. My carmel frappe was mixed just right and filled to the rim like it's supposed to be. The only shame is I had to travel that far to find the best...but it's worth every mile when you know it will be done right. If you want mcdonalds done right..go to russell. Small town, big cooking....all other McDonald branches beware..Russell ks is making yall look bad. read more

I ate here on 6/28/15 on my way back from Joplin, MO to Colorado. I was surprised at how quick the service was as the drive through was a bit backed up, but to be honest it sets on I-70, I figure a lot of people just pull off the road to get something quick. However, there were handling the traffic quite well. My order was done correctly and the food was surprising good. I had not eaten at a McDonald's in years and both chicken sandwiches were quite tasty along with the fries. If going through Russell again, I would stop by for another quick meal. read more

This location is a brand new building on the old restaurants slab foundation. Hard to get into if you have an RV but they have plenty of parking for you once you do navigate the turns. Service was friendly and fast and everything was as ordered. read more
