This McDonald's is located on the corner of Granview Hwy and Renfrew. Its annoying how its pretty blocked off. You have to make a detour if you are heading East or South. The McDonald's recently renovated and it's awesome that they added couple self serve machines. The washroom is huge. On top there is free parking outside in front. Plenty of seats inside. In terms of the food. It's the same as any other McD. Very standard. read more

Firstly, this McDonald's is EXTREMELY POPULAR and BUSY. It is right beside the skytrain station and it's always busy. The staff are always running, so I give them credit for staying so friendly and efficient. However, I still go here because of the service. The managers at this McDonald's location are knowledgeable, kind, understanding, and helpful. RYU, is one of the managers I've had the chance to speak with due to a missed food item. RYU was so kind and helped me through the process of trying to compensate for my missing food. When I came back today to ask about having my meals replaced, he specially made my family's hot cakes order. Thank you so much. RYU went above and beyond. read more

One of the nicer McDonald's in the Lower Mainland, and probably one of the first ones to do the full renovation before the Olympic fever that swept over Vancouver. This is still the same McDonald's location you know on Renfrew and Grandview Hwy, but it has that new modern look, with the bright white walls, the McCafe option, and being open 24 hours, not just the drive thru, but the sit in. With all the change to the McDonalds, the big thing is the lighting and the addition of flat screen tv's showing sports. The seating and the fixtures are nice to look at too. The one big prop I have to give to this place, is that if you need, they fill up your icebox for a donation. You never know when you need ice, and some McDonald's lie and say they do not have any, but this one always does it for me, and it looks good! read more

So it looks like there's another 24h location of McDs around town. I must admit I am liking this trend. Parking is plentiful at night, but I can imagine it might get a bit packed during business hours. They are getting really good at hiding the Value Meals section. It's a tiny portion of 1 panel. I had to spend 20 seconds looking for it on the board. The good news is that the pictures on the menu boards are so pretty. There's also a new McCafe section off to one side, with what looks like its own menu section. There was nobody attending it when I was there though. The reason why I'm giving it 2 stars was the food. 2 major problems: - the fries were room temperature. Aren't they at least supposed to put them under a heat lamp?? - my buddy's Big Mac patty was literally the same size of my cheeseburger. Since when did this happen? Back in tha day, the Big Mac was DEFINITELY bigger. In fact, the Big Mac patty was so small, you could see a solid ring of bun around the entire outer edge. He was tempted to send it back. Anyways, hopefully this is a one-off. Otherwise I'm going to be a very unhappy guy. read more

This is a medium size McD's but very busy especially the drive-thru. They recently renovated, it's a lot nice in there now. There is plenty of seating inside and a few seats outside as well, but I mostly just use the drive-thru to get my coffee. Staff there are on the ball. They are quite organized considering how rushed and busy they can get. Like all McD's ... they have free WiFi ... buuuuuut ... the signal is not very good. read more

This McDonald's looks and feels more spacious now since the renovations. Service is decent. Food is what you would expect from McD. Decently Mediocre. But you don't go to McD expecting gourmet cuisine. Open 24 hours. Self Serve soda fountain is a plus. So I don't have to wait in line for a refill. & 1 minute walk from Renfrew Skytrain. read more

I was here on a Wednesday night looking for a summer treat! Haven't been in here since the renovation and wow does it look nice and updated. The air conditioning was super strong and we actually felt a bit cold but I'm sure it's nice on a hot summer evening. The restaurant was clean and spacious. Several large groups here late evening so it was still semi busy. What really stood out was the manager / customer service rep serving us at the counter. Wow I have never experienced such outstanding service at any McD's location in B.C. or ON. I asked for some steamed milk and the gentleman serving us made it happen and ensured we got our order correctly. What an amazing addition to your team McDonald's ! Our whole family enjoyed our ice cream cones and hot drinks and had a great time. Will be sure to come back and visit soon. read more

This is the worst McDonalds location possible. They're extremely understaffed or lazy. The garbage cans were all overflowing, the tables were not cleared. We waited 15 minutes to order and another 30 minutes to get our food. At that point, I don't think you can call it fast food...they also got our orders wrong. Had a sudden McD's craving and ordered a junior chicken and medium fries. Didn't get any ketchup packets even though it was a take out order. But the place is run by high schoolers so I don't have high expectations. Great location in a busy area by the sky train. Got one of the newer looks, with a TV, and a good size parking lot. 24 Hrs drive thru is also a bonus as next closest one would be Victoria/Kingsway, though that one's nicer with its communal table & bar seating. read more

Best McDonalds in Vancouver. They've got it together - super organized, fast and pleasant. For free coffee week, they streamlined it and expected the huge influx in contrast to any other McDonalds in Vancouver. They even had a manager going around and offering free refills! They've got new machines for self serve and a well thought out numbering system that actually works. Downside, no power outlet so don't get your hopes up for wifi. read more

If I could give a 0 star I would. This locations covid 19 protocols are quite interesting. Do you walk in when you approach the door? There is signage to wait but then what? Was there for 5 minutes no staff was around telling me what to do. So you walk into the location and someone shouts from the other side of the restaurant to step out and wait. That's expected 100% but why is there no one at the door explaining their expectations to guests? It was a first time in a long time that my filet-o-fish and made perfectly aligned. Usually, I get the fish partially off the bun and the cheese half on the box. Fries were fresh, quick, and friendly service. All in all, good Mcd's experience (I have had many bad ones in my life). Ronald would be proud! Ever since the renovations that McD's been doing, most locations has been looking a lot nicer now. It almost feels like a lounge here lol and they even got TV here too.
