This was the third time out of three times the got my order wrong! They do not value their customers! There not the only restaurant in town. I called, they will refill my order, but it was past breakfast time. I do not want to wait until the next day for food i ordered today. Their excuse is being short handed. We went to the McDonald's fast food place tonight around 5:00 pm only to find a nice surprise, seeing there was a short line, which I wouldn't expect, but that was good. We went through the drive-through, and I ordered the quarter pounder with mayo, ketchup, and cheese. When we went up to pay, the lady there was nice, but it seemed like she was faking. When we went to get our food, they said to pull to the next window?? I thought there were only two. Anyways, we got the food and drove home. First off, when I opened the bag, the fries were everywhere, but that's not surprising. Then I opened the burger box and opened the burger, and it not only had NO cheese, but it also had onions, pickles, and no ketchup on it. Not great. Then I drank the sprite I got, and it tasted like watered-down lemonade. I recommend going there but not expecting great service or a perfect order. read more

food was good but I couldn't even take my daughter out of her car seat because of how un sanitary it was. the bathrooms were disgusting and there was multiple people in there for just the wifi which made us feel uncomfortable to a extent, there was people even parked outside by the window just for the wifi and there was people just standing outside for the wifi. the place was just remodeled and looks amazing but could definitely use a good cleaning and stricter rules on allowing people to sit there for awhile for just the wifi. read more

I ordered a double bacon quarter pounder with only cheese extra cheese. i got home and the burger had everything on it so I called and they wrote my name down. That was 6 weeks ago. So 3 weeks ago I go in and have the burger replaced and asked the manager if it was correct so I didn't have to dig it out of the bottom of the bag. She said yes. I get home and it has no bacon on it. I call and talk to same manager who says she will write my name down again to replace it. I go in tonight to find that she never wrote it down and they decided to replace it but next time I need to have my receipt. so I give them the receipt from the night I had it replaced. I pull to the window get handed my order and I pull both sandwiches I ordered out to find they r both wrong. 1 of them was the replacement burger. Its wrong now for the 3rd time. this is the closest McDonalds to my house. So I do go there quite a bit. I have to say and this is not an overexageration that out of the last 30 times I have been there they have messed my order up no less than 25 times. What is so hard about only cheese add extra cheese? Also the manager couldn't even take time to talk with me. I'm guessing because she was the manager I spoke to 3weeks before and was going to write my name down once again. But she choose not to. Guess it wouldn't look good on her to have all those replacement orders wrote down on her shift. I'm sure I'm not the only person whose order they screw up almost every time I go there. read more

It saves you so much time it's insane, these people don't have good management or staff in general, they will let you sit at the drive thru all lit up like the place is on, just for you to to have to pull up to the window to be stared at by employees, just for a manger to come up and tell you that they're closing an hour early because they're understaffed... I've worked quick service and I know that's a lie because I saw multiple staff members who were just doing closing procedures.. will not be back until you fix your lying employees who don't want to work an extra hour inside of their store hours. Put the pitchforks and torches away (and the hot oil!). I'm not saying that McDonald's is a 5 star restaurant. I'm just saying that of all the McDonald's I've eaten at, this one is run the best! Seriously, If there was a "Yelp- McDonald's" site, 5 stars would make more sense. I live in a town where the McDonald's are usually lacking in cleanliness, friendliness, and speed of service. This one in Wood River is the way all Mickey D's should be run. Very fast (go through the drive thru and they will have your food in a flash!), very friendly, and they don't get the orders wrong. Food is always hot and fresh. If you've not eaten at a well run McDonald's, don't visit this one unless you live nearby. It will spoil you. read more

Not only did they get my order wrong, when they tried to fix it, it was messed up a second time. I'm not sure how hard it is to make a double cheeseburger, but it certainly isn't a mcchicken or filet o fish. The manager was nice enough to come out and talk with me about it, which is the redeeming quality of this location. Otherwise, I can't wait for the cooks to be replaced by robots. read more

Wish I could give it 0 stars but oh well. Absolute worst location I've been to. Which sucks with a 6 year old. Almost impossible to get what you order thru the drive thru. Orders messed up every time. And god forbid you dont check your order right there because if not forget about getting the issue resolved. All the employees are rude and don't give a crap about customer service. So i get on mcdonalds website to let them know, request a response from the owners association and nothing. Don't ever go if you're in a rush because it takes an average of 20 minuets in the drive through. As well as the long wait your order will most likely be wrong. I once got a hot chocolate and when the girl asked me if i wanted Carmel i said "no thank you i just want a plain hot chocolate" she thought plain hot chocolate meant no flavors at all so she gave me hot milk... because that makes sense... to a fifth grader... read more

I live and work near this McDonalds and so I'm sorry to say I go there frequently. Never again though. I've become accustomed to having my order messed up and being greeted by a moody teenager at the drive through window. However after my last visit, I won't be back. I was sitting inside eating a messed up McFlurry (how hard is it to make a McFLurry right), watching the morons working there run around inside with their friends and checking my email. I left at 10:10 right after close. On the way home I realized I had left my purse so I went back immediately arriving at 10:30. I pulled up to the drive through speaker and described my purse to the girl who said yes they had found it and she had just seen it. By the time I pulled up to the window, someone else was telling this girl that it was not my purse because it belonged to a friend of theirs. The girl in the window was saying yes its her purse, she just described it. I was eventually sent away after being told it was not mine after all and I couldn't even see it. However, someone used my cell phone, which was in my purse to call my mom at 10:18. So between 10:18 and 10:30 the wonderful employees of McD's decided not to hand over my belongings. I called my cell phone every 15 minutes for two hours hoping someone would pick up but no luck. Finally at 1am someone at the restaurant left a voicemail on my boyfriend's phone saying it was my purse after all. He went to get it the next morning, and they gave it it him without me being there or even calling to see if that was ok. When I got it back all my papers had been crumpled up into a ball, my things rifled through, and $10 taken from my wallet. I immediately went back to speak to the manager who said all she could do was watch the security footage from the night before. This incident just proves to me how incompetent McDonald's employees really are. Obviously, I don't want kids like this preparing food that I'll be eating. I probably won't ever know what happened or why they changed their story so many times, but I won't be back and plan to tell everybody I know about the scumbags working at the local McD's. read more
