They have even come out and fixed other roofing repairs that were done poorly and minimized my expense because they had empathy for us having to deal with the problem repeatedly. That's service! I hired this company for exterior siding work. After the initial installation, there were visible…read moresilicone streaks and surface marks left on the siding. The company returned to address those issues, however the second visit left the siding uneven in appearance with visible patchy and swirl areas across multiple sections of the home. I waited several days for everything to fully dry, but the uneven appearance remained. I ultimately corrected most of the finish myself using a microfiber towel and mild soap to restore a more uniform appearance. I chose to handle the remaining correction myself because repeated scheduling and coordination issues throughout the process made it difficult to reliably be present during service visits, despite multiple requests for appointment-based scheduling. The follow-up visit itself felt rushed and disorganized, and by that point I no longer felt comfortable continuing the process further. While the original marks were eventually removed, the overall experience, communication, and final workmanship were not what I expected from an established company.

We had purchased a house and had it inspected. the inspection passed, but unfortunately the roof…read morehad not been replaced correctly 3 years earlier. We ended up with 2 issues. Insurance that would not cover us due to poor quality workmanship, and leaks. This was a real problem. We contacted John Cotton Roofing and were surprised to be told that he would be out within 2 days to have a look at the property. John was very forthcoming with an honest, and clear explanation of the issues surrounding our roof and a solid run down of the options we had to correct the problems. We came to an agreement with John on what options we were wanting (For us it was a completely new roof including underlay panels). John and his crew were very good with communication, and available when I called to confirm any details. The roof was stripped and rebuilt the very same day. His workers were diligent and respectful, and above all else hard working. Now after the workers had left and my wife and I did the applicable 360 of the house, to admire our new roof we agreed that we would now need to paint our vent pipes to match the high standard of our new roof. This was not in our agreement with John as we were happy to do this ourselves. I planned to do this the next weekend after work. I went to work the next day and when I arrived home I was surprised to see that all of the vents and chimney on the roof had their flashing upgraded and the pipes painted. I contacted John and he informed me that he had been reviewing the photos of the work that his crew had done and just felt that the job was unfinished. He took it upon himself to ensure that the finishing touches that made my roof complete were completed. This is something John Cotton Roofing did without being asked and without cost to me. So, a huge shout out to John, his family, and his team. Thank you for the fantastic job.
