When I was growing up with the neighborhood children, cousin and myself we all would go to the movies with a capitola from the 5lb. bag of flour, that was money the size of a 50 cent coin (don't remember the value of it). I had to wait for the flour to be used up before I could get another one. Sometimes they had one or paid money to get in. It seemed so much larger then....just a stroll down memory lane....LOL. The walk is not bad. They have kiosk to purchase tickets and have a member of the staff close by, if needed. Once entry, there is a full bar with high top tables and lounge couches, a nice area. Next to it, you have the regular concession stand foods and drinks. The restroom offers several stalls and it's clean. They had comfortable and spacious, and recliner seating.

I will say if you're not an avid AMC moviegoer You have to know the difference between the different types of theaters. Imax seats do not recline, like the other theatres. they have lots of great food here, and they also have merch! on this particular day it was on sale. I always recommend AMC southlake when you're on the south side for the best movie theater.

Years ago I attended Georgia State and vaguely remember the theatre located in the student center…read more I found myself on a Sunday afternoon as my cousin premiered her latest short film that she directed and produced in this theatre. It's a cool little cinema that the students are fortunate to have on their campus in downtown Atlanta. The theatre was very accommodating for my cousin's premiere and everything went off without a hitch!
