ATTENTION ALL PARENTS AND POTENTIAL PARENTS INTERESTED IN HAVING YOUR CHILD OR CHILDREN ATTEND THIS…read moreDAY CARE FACILITY...My name is O'Neal, and my sister has been working for this business owner Cindy, on and off for approximately 30 years. Unfortunately on New Year's Day, our father passed away. My sister has been taking care of our disabled mother, dealing with funeral arrangements, as well as taking care of and visiting our sister who is in ICU currently, after having a stroke due to complications with diabetes. I have flown in from Tacoma, Washington to assist her with this, and support our family through this. Cindy is only wanting to give her 3 days of bereavement to get things taken care of, which in my opinion is ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE for someone who had held EVERY POSITION in this company. She is only concerned with the fact that she has to work while my sister is trying to grieve our father's passing. She has yet to tell our family that she is sorry for our loss, and has not shown any empathy for us at all. Yesterday she was EXPECTING my sister be at work. When contacted and having the situation explained MULTIPLE TIMES, she tried to show empathy by sending flowers to the service. While this is appreciated, the sincerity just isn't there. On top of this she is refusing to pay vacation time to my sister. Today we went by to get my sister's paycheck. I went in to support my sister. She didn't want to introduce herself to me, and said nothing. She put her hand in my face and walked into the office. She then proceeds to tell my sister that she'll see if we can accommodate this.YOU'RE THE OWNER!!!! OF COURSE YOU CAN!!! I have been a retail manager for over 30 years myself, and the professionalism, and the experience was EXTREMELY rude.So ask yourselves...if an owner is willing to treat an employee this way, then imagine what type of experience your children may have here. Once I told my business owner what happened, the response was to take as much time as I needed. They weren't worried about lunch breaks or anything, except making sure that I was taken care of in this time of grief. I mean really? Do what you want to, by all means, that is your decision, and your choice, however, I STRONGLY suggest that you don't make that mistake. Being short staffed, and not having a break is not our concern, when we haven't even had the wake, viewing, or even the funeral yet. I'm sure that I'll get a negative response from her on this email, and that's okay. I have a lawyer on standby, if my sister doesn't get the correct compensation or isn't treated more fairly with this situation. Thank you for your time.

A friend referred us to her after her wonderful experience with Christine teaching her own children. Christine is very kind and considerate. With such a pleasant demeanor and patience that could outlast the Pyramids of Giza. Her reliability is as sure as the coming dawn. If the saying holds true that cleanliness is next to godliness then my child spends his days on Mt. Olympus. She is definitely a person I would refer to anyone that I know, because she throws her whole mind, body, and spirit into the lessons and love she gives all her children. Without a doubt our son feels just as much at home with her, as do her own children. Our son's eyes light up to see her every day. He has learned so much from her, from drawing houses to moral values. She doesn't just watch our son, she teaches him. At three, he knows colors, ABC's, counting, and loves to read books. Some books he has even memorized from reading them so much. We will truly miss Christine loving and teaching our son when he goes off to school soon. She is a fabulous person and I am so grateful for the time we've had and cherish every moment she has spent with our son.

** Parents Beware ** We enrolled our two year old son into…read morethis facility and from the first day he started I was never at peace with this daycare. The main access door into the facility was secured by a very cheap residential type code lock which holds a maximum of 4 different codes so this means the daycare has no way of suspending access to someone or maintaining a secure access within the facility. Secondly the video surveillance system is a DIY system and this facility has zero exterior cameras which is a HUGE safety concern. I tried to bring these concerns up to the director Rose Mary attention and she was very arrogant to my concerns and ended up hand writing a note to put on the owners desk so he and I could dicscuss in more detail. However three weeks passed and l did not hear from him so I followed up via the website inquiry form and Sandra responded saying they never received a note the night I submitted the online inquiry but then changed her story the next day stating that's Rose Mary ( the director ) said I was trying to sell them a security system. I found this to be very discouraging because 1. I am not in the security system industry. 2. Even if I was trying to sell them a system as a parent of a child attending their daycare a follow up call would be professional. However after debating with a very unprofessional owner Sandra I now know why I did not receive a follow up. She not only claims to have some " open door policy " as stated on their website. She refused to have a meeting with me as I requested several times via email regarding the above safety concerns. Her response was All these years we haven't had any issues. End of day if you would like to have your children treated like they are in a toddler day jail. Served food that is heated in a microwave with a scoop of Apple sauce. A daycare that is not secure and John Doe off the street could easily walk into because of their lack of investment into a commercial grade access control stystem. A daycare that has a surveillance system that has no exterior cameras not even one at the front door. (Correction there is a camera at the front door that is dangling by the cord but it was from the previous owner and does not work) then that's what you will get here. In closing- if a daycare has to market " Christian " within their name, they don't have a review link on their social media page, and has a very short waiting list then that's even more of a red flag. Keep your children safe and find another place for them!
