McKay is the best place for what we need. She has her independent living back and not just sitting in a little room like a mouse in a box and now she is flourishing. I can tell a big difference in her from living in "assisted living" to independent living. I highly recommend McKay especially when you're still able to do it all on your own. Well let's just say also the price is so so much better for more "living" space and being able to call it home!!! All the people that work there are great,the activities, socializing, and not to mention the three meals you get everyday as well. With that being said in your own apartment you can cook, use a microwave you have the full size refrigerator and if you don't want to eat in the dining room at that time you can fix whatever you want in your room if you want. The options are there!! I'd say check it out before going to any "assisted living" this is SENIOR LIVING at its BEST!!!! read more
