They are all about building relationships with each other and helping all the attendees find and follow Jesus. What I enjoy most about our pastors is that they teach directly out of the Bible and also use other reliable resources to back up what the Bible is telling us. Everyone is welcome! And the church always has Some sort of gathering whether it be Study Groups, Church Camps, Parents Night out, Woman's Tea Parties or PotLucks. He is relatable and humble. I have never got the feeling that he looks down on anyone who steps into the church. I have been to other churches where that definitely is the vibe. All the leaders here seem extremely genuine (besides one but I keep my distance from them). The kids and youth ministry is awesome! My children all love going every single week and choose to participate in additional activities when possible. The worship team jives so well together and mix it up from week to week. So why not head over to Evergreen? We'd been to a couple of their Christmas services and we miss going to a big church, so this fit the bill. The worship music was awesome and the new pastor is young and funny. He's not as good as my pastor to be honest, but he's good and has a lot of energy. I like how they have both self-serve coffee and baristas so you can purchase a customized drink. Plus they serve pastries from The Bread Peddler, which is the best. We went to the service at noon and there was enough parking, even during service so it was nice and easy.

We both now help with the Youth ministry. Jeffery, the lead pastor, for the South Hill Campus (there are also locations in South Kitsap, Silverdale, Sumner and a Spanish Language Service in Puyallup), brings the word in a fresh, easy to connect with way that feels really applicable to the constantly changing and fast paced times we live in. We love the church's vision, to present hope and develop people. I have seen first hand the positive impact the church has had on my family and in my community. This is not the only church in Puyallup, it certainly isn't the perfect church (because real people go here) but it has proved to be the perfect place for my family and I to worship, grow, and serve. The biblical teachings are taught in a way that is relevant for every day use and in a manner that is both entertaining and educational. CFAN offers Saturday night service that starts at 6:00 pm with free coffee and snacks. Services start on time and end in a reasonable time. CFAN offers Wednesday night bible studies at 7:00 pm. CFAN has great programs and ministries for everyone. CFAN cares about where you are going and teaching you how to apply the word of GOD to your life. CFAN is a genuine place of worship with people that truly care about you and your life.

There was probably over 60 people and all seated within a 20 foot radius. Also, We arrived at 9am because their website says service starts at 9, and instead we waited till 10am for service to start. Music was extremely loud and lasted almost 45 minutes. Standing so long got us tired very quickly. People then sat literally right next to us (less than a foot away) with their being probably 100 empty seats and they decided not to wear a mask either, needless to say, we left and aren't coming back.

I grew up going to church in Tacoma basically my whole life which means I have heard of NLC but always went somewhere else. I thought I would see a lot of familiar faces (this is after I got back from my 1.2 years in California). Not really... surprisingly. Wow it has been almost half a year already and I am so thankful for all the people I have met here. I know it was God who placed me at NLC after I felt alone and abandoned(; I grew closer to Christ with the help of my lovely friends at church! I was so happy to see how bright everyone was shining from their love for God. I really like the pastor's sermons too! I grew up listening to sermons.. that went through one ear out the other. But here, every Sunday I whip out my phone and take some meaningful notes. Later throughout that week or month, I scroll through and I think, "oh wow! That's perfect timing to read this message again". To whomever sees this from New Life Church, I just want to thank you all for making me feel welcome and at home(;
