I've had Dr. John Bynum's services for 4 years now. I get chiropractic adjustments 2 X's per month usually, but if I've injured myself, it's been up to 4 X's per month. What an disrespectful business this place is. I left my house this morning on a 40 minute drive to my 9:30 appointment with Chiropractor Franklin at McKim. Exactly 10 minutes (9:20) before my appointment I get a call from Mary at McKim telling my that Chiropractor Franklin isn't going to be there. I've was contacted no less than 4 times by text and phone to remind me that I have an appointment at 9:30 Monday, and to notify them if I can't make it, since they don't want patients to waste their time. But, apparently McKim has no problem wasting their patients time. Mary offered no accommodations with one of the other Chiropractors that practice there since I was minutes away. Very unprofessional and disrespectful to their patients, in this case: Ex-patient! read more

First let me start off by saying Dr. Jesse Franklin is one of the kindest, most compassionate, and educated chiropractors I've ever visited. And we travel full-time moving every 1 to 2 weeks so that's saying a lot. I drove 30 mins 5 days back to back to get intensive treatment, and while the issue itself isn't wholly resolved (it's going to take some time due to the nature of the injury), Jesse was able to help me get some relief as well as provide me with some tips for on the road care. The supporting team really kind as helpful as well. I will say this practice does have some deeply religious components to it: Christian music playing, a how can we pray for you box, framed photos of Jesus and scripture signs on a lot of the walls. Sharing because I know that is triggering for some, and don't want them to be caught off guard. Overall very grateful for the help I received and highly recommend. read more

I came in for lower back pain and upper cervical pain on the recommendation of my family doctor. This was my first and more than likely very last visit with a chiropractor since this has left such a sour taste in my mouth. To be clear my dissatisfaction is not with the care but with the lack of customer service, utter disorganization, and lack of helpfulness of the front desk and billing staff. I came in for the free consultation appointment and X-rays, I thought the staff was excellent, I really liked Dr. Franklin, and I left that day actually feeling better surprisingly with a follow-up appointment scheduled the next day to go over everything with the doctor and come up with a plan of treatment. The next day I arrived for my appointment with he doctor who came up with a plan of treatment and presented me with an itemized list of estimated charges,and payment options which was greatly appreciated. However as the doctor was examining the list he noticed that there were two separate co-pays listed for the services. So he said he would treat me and then get his staff to call and verify my insurance information. After I was treated the front desk staff presented me with a new itemized list, this time three times the amount of the first list. When I inquired as to the hefty price jump the woman seemed to be confused and kept trying to tell me that my secondary insurance wasn't valid because she had my secondary insurance confused with my primary. I tried to clear up the insurance with her, but finally she said I should probably just call my insurance myself because I was confused about my own insurance. She did say that she would try to have her billing person call my insurance on Monday and then call me. Needless to say, that although she was nice the lack of helpfulness didn't leave the greatest impression but I thought I would try and clear it up on my own anyways. I then called my insurance who explained without procedure and billing codes they couldn't give me an exact coverage and they recommended I have the office manager or the billing person call back. So I called McKim's office back, I explained that I needed procedure codes and asked if their billing person had gotten any information. She took my name and number, told me someone would call me back and after three subsequent messages over the next week I gave up. It's obvious to me that the only business they seem to want is cash business with people who are just going to hand over their credit cards and not ask questions, which unfortunately is why chiropractors get a bad reputation to begin with. So it's back to my heating pad and trying to manage the pain myself unless I get desperate and will look for a different provider. read more

Dr. Franklin got me back to doing what I love without pain. The drop tables are nice compared to the twisting method of adjustment.

We just moved to the area a few months ago and I found McKim Chiropractic on Groupon. They have been so accommodating, friendly and welcoming. Visited the 12th st Nampa office and saw Dr Franklin. I went in for a simple adjustment. I work long hours on my feet and my back takes the brunt of the impact. I was in need of some good chiropractic care. My wife called and made the appointment. I was pleasantly surprised to hear the prices. Most people my wife called were quoting outrageous prices. Very clean office and friendly staff. Have been here for standard adjustments three times. I have to say its well worth it! I'm glad I found this place, and so does my back. read more

My son needed to be seen for neck pain, he is in multiple sports and is always busy. Staff was very flexible and understanding. My son was able to be seen and treated the same day, really enjoyed his visit! My husband has always been unsure of chiropractic care but the team at McKims was finally able to explain and help him understand the importance of adjustments and therapy!!! I like the office staff and think they are great. They are very friendly and helpful. There are two things that I am not as happy as I could be: 1. gospel music in EVERY room which I don't like to be forced to listen to it if I don't want to listen to it. 2. The doctor that they had filling in for McKim seemed like he was off and left me feeling like he didn't do his job 100%. He told me that the next time I am in that he or another doctor would go over my xrays and come up with a plan on taking care of my issues. I felt like my adjustment wasn't fully finished. I maybe spent 10 minutes on the adjustment table. I still had pain walking out the door. I have one more visit next week with the regular doctor before I decide if I will continue care there or look for another chiropractor. I was hoping that this doctor is good since the location is perfect and close to my house. Lets hope its a better visit on Monday. read more

1. Clinic is easily accessed. 2. professional and family friendly. 3. very easy to work w/ for rescheduling busy clients. 4. Stayed w/in time frame agreed upon in initial evaluation and reduced low back pain to intermittent or 1/10 on the pain scale. 5 Educated to increase awareness of body alignment so I could decrease risk of pain returning. 6. Although slight assembly line feel to the appointment process this did keep flow of clients good and decreased both wait time in the front office and over all appointment time which was fantastic for a busy person. read more

As a new patient I was a little discouraged by the whole process. You advertise about wanting to help those in pain, but the whole process comes across as a ploy to get the patients money. Come back tomorrow for a presentation . Watch this 15 minute video . Let me show you the plans we have for you . For only $6000 dollars and a contract signature we can get you on your way to feeling better. Oh, you can t do $6000, How about $1800 for plain old Chiropractic visits? Oh, $1800 too much, how about $270 a month for 18 months? It does not really come across as someone who wants to help the patient. It comes across as someone who wants to lighten my wallet...significantly. Kinda makes me feel like I m dealing with a car salesman instead of of a doctor. I loved the treatments, but it wasn't until I had about 5 treatments left that i was recommended to go to a doc and find out if I had some underlying problem (I wasn't getting better) and sure enough, I have a bulging disk in my neck. I got that kind of taken care of, but now I don't have enough treatments to re-get my back feeling better. But they were awesome and Dr. Franklin is a very good doc. read more

I went in with my mother who is a patient there and was greeted very kindly and professionally. Franklin was very skilled and took such good care of my mom, I made a new patient appointment for the next morning, which was COMPLIMENTARY for those w/o insurance. Very nice ! I received a thorough evaluation and radiographs of my neck and low back.. They then gave me a complimentary stim and alignment treatment for 10 minutes. Another unexpected surprise that was much appreciated. Another appointment was made to go over everything w/ Dr.Franklin and a treatment plan and associated costs discussed. Here things got a bit twisted. I was given the impression that the clinic would allow me a payment plan monthly which I could afford then when sent to front desk where I was asked to apply for a line of credit OUTSIDE the clinic. This contradicted what I had just been told. I had a treatment done that day for 75.00 for 1 set of treatments when just a few minutes before I was told I could pay monthly. I will not be able to receive the scheduled treatments recommended at 75/treatment. I was pleased w/ the service but a bit annoyed about the financing run around. read more
