I told them the basic of what I wanted and I let them run with it. They came up with all the plants and the design and I even had a dry River Creek put down which is fabulous. It was one of the easiest projects I think I've ever been involved in and the project team that I worked with was great! They were the nicest bunch of people, so polite, on time, clean up was great including pressure washing my driveway. Darrell was the project manager that was responsible from start to finish. I pretty much left everything up to him and his expertise for suggestions, arrangements and most plants used. I wanted something low maintenance but aesthetically pleasing to the eye. His plan was perfect! Adam, the foreman, who actually supervised and did all the work out front was one of the nicest people you could ever meet. Even asking him to make a change or add something was not difficult, he was so agreeable to please the customer. His Workman Kaboba and Jay work together so well it was pretty amazing to watch it all come together. Would I hire them again for another project, absolutely!

Mikey came out and said that wasn't necessary, that he would charge $150/hr and could fix it in a couple of hours...6 days (most of which he showed up in the evening and staid until late into the night) and $3,450.00 later, this is what he left me with. He said he would come back and fix it, but after seeing the entirety of what he did, I don't want him back on my property to do more damage and leave more mess. The system not only looks crudely constructed, it doesn't work at all. I had the company installing my sod send their irrigation guy out to assess what would be needed to repair it properly, and yep, the whole job needs to be ripped out and re-done. I requested a full refund of what I paid as I now have to pay again for the labor and parts, but Mikey is unwilling to do that. I am asking Yelp to honor their $2,500 guarantee and will be filing suit in small claims court for the remaining $950. I can't reply to your reply, Michael, but as you are the 'contractor' and the person that did this work, you know that you have been telling me you would be out since July 27th, the day after you finished the work. It is not my job to tell you to come clean up the job site and fix the shoddy job, though I've been requesting such since August 12th.

We reviewed the various areas that needed attention and then they went right to work. The men did an outstanding job of laying sod over a good portion of my backyard and just didn't lay it down but carefully prepared the ground first. Vapsi, the lead foreman was busy laying a paver stoop outside my rear screen door. This fellow is a true artist and the final product was beautiful. They also brought in a dump truck full of stone to put under my hedge running the length of my house. Again, they just didn't just throw the stone in but first trimmed the hedge and removed all the clippings.
