I can't say enough about how pleased I am with the service I received from C&L. I contacted C&L for suggestions for my dying front landscape. Leslie Smith listened to what my husband and I wanted done. He made suggestions and within an hour he had come up with an amazing plan for my front yard. We had his proposal the day we spoke to him. Once we received approval from our HOA his crew went into action and had our project completed in three and a half days. His crew was amazing. They worked non stop and were pleasant and courteous. Had Mr. Smith stop by for an estimate. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and very kind. You can tell he knows his stuff. I'd definitely hire him, if I could afford him. If it's something relating to structural integrity, I'd hire him. He's the sort of person that will do it right the first time. You gather that from speaking with him. However, you get what you pay for and this company is professional, and there prices reflect it. I'd definitely use them to build or do important things concerning structural integrity. However, as far as landscaping goes, unless you're a high end commercial business (as they are accustomed to helping) you could most likely find similar results at much more affordable prices. This review is not meant to be a dig at this company. Simply to help steer smaller, residential customers like myself towards smaller landscape companies with prices that reflect our smaller budgets. For example, he quoted me approximately $200K to fill a pond with approximately 7,000 cubic feet of dirt. He was very clear as to the work that needed to go into doing this project correctly, in order to obtain structural soundness for future building on top of it. As opposed to other landscapers that were talking about filling the pond with biodegradable debris, and never mentioned compacting it. For that job C&L was clearly the obvious choice. They completely understood what it took to ensure it would result in a sound and correctly done job. The price was just more than I was ready for. read more

We've been having real problems with our sprinkler system. Glenn came out, changed out some of the heads, readjusted others, and "tweaked" the whole system. Now everything is getting watered like it should. After several failed attempts with other companies, this was a real treat. The cost was reasonable. If we ever need additional help with our system, we will use only C&L and we will ask for Glenn, specifically. read more

Such a professional company that delivers great work EVERY TIME. I needed some work done at my house and George and his crew did an AMAZING job. The first project was sodding the front yard. George and his crew were on time, kept me informed on the progress and made sure he cleaned up the dirt in the driveway and my porch afterwards. They even took it a step further and put some mulch in my garden. The second project was installing pavers in my backyard, same great experience. They were on time, kept me informed and cleaned up afterwards. They took it a step further and moved the extra pavers to the front of my house so I can put them in my garage AND they installed sod in my backyard. Although I see mostly rave reviews, I have to disagree. I had made an appointment back in June and had to resked due to short-notice trip out of town; I called and asked to resked; this was 3 weeks ago. I was informed that I would be called by the technician "soon" for re-sked. Nearly three weeks later (today), I get a call from a technician (I assume) because he asked if I would be there today after 4:30pm. I informed him that I would not be using them because this took way too long for follow-up phone call. I then said "good luck with your company" in the future and he hung up on me. I consider this action by him to be unsatisfactory and unwarranted. Not only will I not ever use them again, I won't recommend nor endorse. read more

WOW... just wow.... this guy came out to give me a quote on a paving project I wanted to have done. To start the guy was several hours early for the appt but at least he called ahead. Secondly he was INCREDIBLY rude when he came out. Barely would conversate with me about the project and what I wanted done. He assumed he knew everything I wanted and would start talking when I was in the middle of asking a question. He seemed extremely disinterested in my project and seemed like he was blowing me off, maybe he didnt think I had much money or something I dunno. At the end of the 4 minutes he gave me attention for he was walking away to his truck and I was said to him "I just want to make sure we are on the same page, I would like to have 2 quotes for..." he interrupts with "Yeah I know what you want I got it"... then didnt give me any turn around time on the quote or ask me what kinda stones i wanted or what was even involved in the project. Also he measured the entire project with his feet.... yes thats right. After 2 days I finally got what I think was a quote. I say think cause what I got was a email that contained a photograph of a yellow notepad with notes scribbled on it that I could not read and a few numbers equaling almost $25,000!!! Are you freaking kidding me? No way my project is that freaking costly! Are the stones made of diamonds?!?! They wouldnt answer any other emails I sent them... I will never call this company again for anything and I wouldnt recommend anyone else do it. They are rude and overpriced and disrespectful. read more
