Your appointment could be at 11:30 or 11:45 and you won't be seen to after lunch. She takes off days at time to keep from seeing certain patients. MICHIGAN HEALTH specialist is a Center-based home facility and that means you are not supposed to turn patients away. Not sure what Dr. Wheatley did with her patients but nobody wants to seen them. Let's talk about the previous staff was rude to the patients, I witnessed it myself. She was rude to me. She smelled bad and she was there for almost a year. It's hard to get refills for the patients, prescriptions are not being put in and or sent to the proper place. They leave this up to the front desk to handle to take messages back to the doctors when there should be a nurse for that. The phone is trash it hangs up on the patients. Front staff is the face you can only do so much for the pt if the providers refuse to do something it make them look like they are not doing there job. Here a good example I'm on the phone with a pt. Mary calls I don't answers because I'm on the phone. She calls my coworker, coworker inform her I'm on the phone. I told her give me a minute I'm on the phone. How rude to interrupt someone mid sentence. I heard Mary in a rude tone tell her can't wait. Mary was calling about a pcp change for a new pt. Pt informed me she had it changed.. but was told she had to reschedule. I would get calls from Mary about pt with balances. My job was to ask if they say no or they don't have it. I'm not forcing it. I could write a book... but I'm stop here... I don't normally do reviews but here you go...

I wish I could give this place a negative star rating…read more Unfortunately, my recent experience with Longway Michigan Health Specialists, specifically with Chinara Arthur, DNP, was deeply disappointing and concerning. During my visit, I did not receive an appropriate examination--my vitals and throat were not checked--and I was dismissed with the comment, "Well, if you are speaking, you should go back to work." I have been in pain for several days and was seeking proper documentation to provide to my employer. I was informed when scheduling the appointment that paperwork could be completed for an additional fee, yet upon arrival, I was told it would not be filled out unless I was seen a second time. The dismissive and unprofessional demeanor displayed during the appointment only added to the distress of the situation. I rarely seek medical care, and experiences like this reinforce the hesitation many patients feel when reaching out for help. This is not reflective of the standard of care one should expect from a healthcare provider.

I wd wait for her more than one hour just that the princess come to glance at me for less than 3 minutes while looking in her pink laptop and wouldn't even look at me. I wd start telling her about my worsened symptoms and she starts showing boredom already and pretending being busy and focusing on reading. she leaves without sending refills or addressing any problems with me and I have to chase her for the following 4 weeks to send refills to pharmacies. They have my insurance and lied saying I need to pay cash when I have full coverage and my insurance confirmed they did indeed have it on file. The doctor obviously has the manager do her dirty work for her, even though she's the one ruining my health. She wont allow me to talk to my doctor to get an explanation either. This doctor purposely told me my disability was done when she never turned it in so now i wont get disability due to her mistake. They refused to give me my medical records and a itemized receipt so i hqve to get a lawyer just to get paperwork thats how ridiculous this is. I feel like im speaking to a group of mean girls from high school everytime i call. So now i have to get a lawyer and all the recorded calls for proof that they are lying. All because she couldn't let her pride go even though that's literally her only job. If you want to ruin your life and lose everything youve ever worked for, this is the doctor you want! ​

She is kind and compassionate, and provides top notch medical services. I really cannot recommend her highly enough. If we lived in Michigan, Dr. Winston would unquestionably be our kids' primary care physician.
