The most delicious peach soft serve ice cream I have ever had. Lila was friendly and made the perfect cone. We also purchased a flat of peaches $35 and apricot syrup. The store is clean and organized. We could see the guys sorting new peaches in the back. Highly recommend.

We weren't impressed. We came to buy peaches and they were outside on pallets and covered with flies. They sell Fire Mountain jams and jellies which also brought us here. They are great. Not thrilled about the peach soft serve. read more

This place has that small farm store feel. They don't sell a ton of things but it was all local and their produce all looked super fresh. I think they were one of the only places on the main strip selling peach seconds. The prices seemed on par with everyone else. I came here because I read a lot of reviews for their homemade peach ice cream. I got a twist with vanilla and it was delicious! It wasn't bursting with peach flavor but it also didn't have that fake peach flavor which I don't enjoy. read more

Was looking forward to getting the peach Ice cream here The store was very tiny and sold the same stuff in every other store in this town. The ice cream lacked flavor. For a peach farm skimping on the peach seems cheep. For me it was disappointing and not worth going. Sorry. read more

Stopped in just to try the ice cream. All 3 of us got the small twist ( peach & vanilla) cone and it was awesome. The perfect amount of peach flavor mixed with vanilla tasted like the peach version of an orange creamsicle. Also cone was very large for it being the small. I'm scared of what the large would look like! Would definitely stop by again. read more

Soft serve (vanilla, peach, or swirl) sure hit the spot on a hot day. Go for the small cone. We got one small and one medium and there was virtually no difference in amount of ice cream on each cone but there was a difference in price. read more

So lovely!!! Originally came here for the peaches, but from reading the reviews we weren't leaving here without the peach ice cream!! Family owned and folks were as sweet as can be!! We picked up peaches, apples and plums, plus some pie fillings, because why not!!! And of course, ice cream on the way out!! Delicious!! Worth a visit, for sure!! read more

What's not to love about this place? They sell locally grown produce. Today they had peaches, tomatoes, corn, beans. They also have locally made jam and jelly as well as fantastic soft-serve ice cream: vanilla, peach, or both in a twist. Super tasty and they have a few tables and chairs outside to enjoy the ice cream in the shade. Always a great Sunday stop for ice cream and local fruits and veggies. read more

The friendliest place around. The people there are wonderful. Stop there on my way home to BV for peaches and was so happy I did. I won't buy peaches from any other place. They have a little bit of everything. Ending up getting pears and some syrup, It was all great! So worth the trip!! read more

We also order ice cream in the way out and a milk shake. 1st we got a peanut chocolate milk shake that looked more like chocolate milk. Then they got the order wrong it had milk instead of almond milk. Asked for a refund and she said she redo it. I asked kindly to make it more thick. It did not come out anymore thick. She added too much liquid. Looked like the new hire wasn't properly trained in ratio content. Then they forgot to get our bear claw ice cream. We saw a tall lad that was not working and just overseeing the other staff struggle. So sad. As far as the young lady giving out peaches outside in the stand. She looked more like she was ready for the gym than being at work. I can tell you it was offensive to see her in tight leggings. I sure wife's don't appreciate their husbands have free eye candy at a moments turn. We will not be stopping here again. So sad because I would talk about the old little stand from back in the day to everyone and how wonderful it was to go after driving from Denver on the 70. It was a nice treat. Not anymore.

Chose some hot sauces and honey butter. They put everything in a box for me which was great as I couldn't carry the items home. Very convenient. First time driving thru Palisade on our way back from Grand Junction and Moab. It's a quaint town known for local farms and wineries. Clark Family Orchards seemed like a reliable spot, so we stopped by to check out the fruit stand. Now, this isn't one of those rinky dink fruit stands on the side of the highway. For starters, you are surrounded by beautiful views of the Grand Mesa. It's a charming store with an abundance of products. You can easily drop a small fortune if you weren't careful. We bought a whole lot of fresh peaches, cherries and jams. The peaches and cherries were consumed right away, and damn they were mighty tasty treats. Nothing better than freshly harvested fruits. The peaches steal the show, but I implore you not to skip out on the cherries. They are just as fantastic! There are a good amount of orchards and farms to choose from when out in Palisade. Clark is a great family owned one to support.

I have yet to see anywhere else in Palisade that is so confident in their quality, they will let you have a whole dang peach! The ladies running the counter are always so kind. They are constantly refreshing the shelves, making sure customers are finding what they need, and keeping their beautiful farmhouse-vibe in this produce stand authentic. I never feel rushed, and they have an AC and a walk in cooler in case you get too hot. The perfect spot to cool off and get some fresh Palisade sunshine to take home. Even as I write this review, not even 2 hours later I have inhaled 2 more peaches, and am eying my third. Recommended stop for anyone looking for a good deal and even better peaches!

They have table, and a long bar-style area looking the water. That's where we decided to sit. Peaceful view, distillery dog welcoming everyone that came in, loved it! Put in our order, we decided to share it as, it looked like a full meal, and glad we did. It came with the most delicious roasted peppers I've had in a while (could have eaten more of those), beef sliders, mac n cheese bites, olives, bacon, and okra. The Bloody Mary was really good too, spicy enough to give you that kick, and salty as it should be. And the faces of everyone seeing it come out, plus the pictures we were able to take of it were just the best. I can check that off my list of "To Dos" now and recommend everyone giving it a try. As we thought we got full with that, but looking at other people's food, everything looked great. One done, we went inside and looked at some merch, plus got to buy some of their distillery gin, and take some pictures with their beautiful peach blossoms. The wines I picked were on cards which had descriptions of each one on the back. Each wine I tried was great - the gal in the smaller building out front and near the sitting area was very knowledgeable and friendly. There is ample seating and even reserved tables available if you're with a larger group. For a Saturday, it wasn't terribly busy and finding a spot to sit wasn't difficult. At the end, you tell the gal which wine was your favorite and they give you a wine glass charm that matches the one you picked, so cute and thoughtful! I also bought a bottle of my favorite and they offered to chill it before I left. Both the tasting and bottle were reasonably priced. There's also a trolley that stops by and takes people to different wineries - a perfect way to wine hop and not worry about transportation. Definitely recommend if you find yourself in Palisade.

We had already strung together a nice wine tour on the Friday and then we we did parks on Saturday. When we were back in town Sunday I suggested we swing back through Palisade(our Airbnb was in Grand Junction) and see if there was another bottle of wine we might like. After 1 other spot we swung by Hermosa Vineyards. It was a humbler operation than some we noted, as we pulled in. I sorta like that over a grandiose entrance. The tasting room was even more humble in size and layout. As we walked in a larger group was just leaving and bought a few wines, so I figured it must be pretty good. It was good overall. The vintner was also our bartender he said. He told us alot about the history of him and the place. We learned alot about the produce he had growing as well. We were the only customers at that moment so he was especially chatty with us. It was a nice stop, we didn't get a bottle here, but we did appreciate the vibe.

As my expectation for this small but reputable winery grew as the day of the trip was near, today, I have the pleasure of writing this 5-star review to add to others' raves after I had a wonderful time spending 30 minutes at this one of a kind winery a few days ago. Kenneth was the most experienced/knowledgeable wine makers out of all 11 places I got to visit in Palisade mid this week. He certainly knows what wine making is all about and I could taste the precision he puts into each varietal. No wonder his place is ranked one of the top Colorado wineries. Hermosa is small and quaint but big doesn't always describe the success of a/any business. I certainly see that his pride as a wine maker is reflected in the kind of winery he runs: no extravagance, no big/expensive sign. Some great business is not always on the main/busy street; hence the expression, "hidden gem". Ken's winery is a hidden gem of Colorado's wine country is an understatement. His wines are not cheap like other wineries' wines so expect pay $5 to $10 more. But once you have tasted the qualities of his wines after a flight, you WILL be convinced to buy a bottle or two.
