That all changed today. The older woman with short gray hair who wears a visor was so incredibly nasty to my three year old and I that I quite literally left my arm full of flowers and will not ever be returning. I know not everyone is a fan of kids, but rolling your eyes and audibly huffing when I politely asked where I could find the bathroom is not appropriate. Neither is yelling when he was trying to view the koi pond. We will (happily) by making the much longer trek to Valley View Farms for all of our (many) future plant purchases and will no longer be supporting a business who feels comfortable treating people this way. Clearly we are not the only ones that have had a run in with this woman and their ironically Poor customer service. I enjoy my annual plant purchases and I am going to keep it that way by never going here again.

There is a snowball stand onsite called Busy Bee Snowballs. Their Yelp page says they are permanently closed but that is not true! They are the best snowballs in town. Be sure to give em a try after you pick up your produce. I believe the petting zoo is currently closed due to COVID but when it is open, it is a good time for both children and adults. I've wandered around with a few friends and we had fun seeing all the animals.

The annuals and perennials here are healthy and hardy. They have beautiful hanging baskets, from fuchsias to geraniums, as well as native plants and pest resistant flowers. The man…read moreI asked wanted me to explain what I wanted to do and when I started to tell him, I saw that he was looking away. I glanced and saw it was at another employee, and he quickly said that he was listening. But he wasn't because I was already done with my explanation. Then the phone rang and a cashier told him the call was for him. He picked up the phone and began talking with them! The employees here have NEVER been helpful and most are downright rude. I am not the only one who knows this to be true.

Every time I come here and need help, there's an issue. I came in today to get some plywood and 2x6…read morewood cut and went to the cashier to ask for help. Someone came back to help, the only part of his name I could see was Al. He said he could cut the plywood and then the 2x6 was a different saw. When we pulled the plywood off the cart for him (small piece, not full size) he measured it then said it would have to be cut at the other saw and he asked us to follow him. He then proceeded to take off and we were left once again looking for help. Collin was spotting a forklift and stopped to help us out. He was incredibly friendly and accommodating while empathizing for what happened with the previous guy. This Home Depot is the one that has the things we need but when it comes to asking someone for help, stay away.
