Miracle play equipment includes: 1 big slide, 1 little slide, 2 big kid swings, 2 baby swings, 1 saucer swing, a couple climbing ladders, those "weird 3 ball climbing thingies" and a "cat walk" type thing. I do like that the playground has that squishy rubber ground cover in case of falls. There are also some workout equipment for adults including an arm press, rowing machine, leg press and a "gazelle" type thing. A decent-sized walking track goes around the area as well. Not sure how long this park has been around but it appears that it used to have a bunch of trees here but the empty open squares throughout the concrete leads me to believe many of the trees died. 2 picnic tables and numerous benches are here as well. There is an older single soccer field here as well. Only 1 goal remains which leads me to believe they don't play real games here. A youth soccer team was practicing while my kids played on the playground. Usually there is no one here when we come. All in all, a decent playground to mix it up. Not the greatest but I like that it's usually just to ourselves.

I even enjoy climbing up the main structure and going down the 2 HUGE slides! The kids appreciate that there are "different" play equipment at this playground... the wiggly/wobbly balance apparatus is really neat and the spinning "merry-go-round" is awesome! I like that there is artificial turf as a ground cover. (Not a huge fan of the wood chips under the swings... there always seems to be singing ants in wood chips). There is minimal shade here, mainly just above the large main structure. Another mother I was speaking to said she wished more playgrounds had cover/shade. There is a small pond with a dock next to the play area. That makes me a bit nervous as my middle child has no fear... I can just picture her wandering over there if I take my eyes off her for a split second! All in all, a solid playground. Hasn't been busy during any of our visits. We'll definitely be back!

Nice baseball, soccer, and softball fields and general grassy areas. You can book the fields in advance for private games or for more recreational, group sports and there are bright lights in the evening to light up the fields (necessary when the day is 102!). No picnic tables or very much shade though, so probably not the best for just hanging out.

Tickets were $16 to sit right behind home plate (you do not need to buy tickets ahead of time online if you're going to a weekday game, as there were barely a couple hundred people to fill the stands). At first, we were told that based on the section we bought tickets in, that we could get free popcorn, peanuts, and soft drinks. This was not the case. The free goodies were in fact for groups that had wristbands and were part of employers or families that had bought picnic packages. There were plenty of other options anyways that were reasonable - BBQ sandwiches, hot dogs, corn dogs, nachos. I had gotten the big Bushbaby Bush's chicken sandwich for $5.50. I wish I had kind of waited and made a decision after I had walked around to all the food stops, as I'm not kicking myself that I didn't get a chance to try the famous peanut butter jelly bacon hot dog. This place is also referred to as the Watersong Wild Space. The weather could not have been more perfect on that Sunday, January 4, 2026. It's not the most amazing place due to the dry climate and flat lands, but for Midland it was a cool find - plus it was all free. Free parking. Free entrance. I could definitely hear the droning tires on the Interstate nearby, but viewing nature was refreshing. A caliche road leads to the parking lot. Look out for mesquite trees that might scratch your vehicle up if you get too close. The biggest drawback had to be that dogs are not allowed. No bicycles allowed either. Just please have your party dispose of their trash properly at the main pedestrian entrance. Closed on Monday.
