He did…read morea good job in betting rid of the viruses, installing free security software and servicing the computer and Juno dial up. His prices at that time were affordable. When things started to go wrong, he got very rude and nasty to me. He lost his temper at me more than once. He even bombarded with nasty and insulting voicemail messages when I decided to have the Geek Squad install my new computer that I bought at Best Buy. I felt more comfortable with the Geek Squad. The technician's business practices were very bad. He got too expensive. He charged by the hour instead of by the service and the labor. He was forcing me to contact Juno support before he would even try to fix the problem. In 2015, he lost his temper at me at his shop. I was upset that he lost the emails. He forced me to have Juno support call him before he would try to get the emails back. I got charged for it. Juno support could not help him. He was able to get the emails back without the help of Juno support. He was out to scam me for more money. He claimed that the security scam took hours. He said he would knock the charges down to 4-5 hours. He said if the security scam detects an infection and he can not get rid of it, I would have to uninstall everything. That would cost me more money and cause me damages. I would lose the Microsoft Office software that I paid to have installed. When he dropped off the laptop during his last delivery, he then tells me that he no longer accepts credit cards and that he only accepts cash or check. He inconvenienced me. Even though he got the emails back, he never fixed the problem with the Juno. He even saw that there was a problem with the Juno dial up when he dropped off the computer. I paid him over 200 dollars. He never followed up on the matter. The Juno dial up ended up repairing itself. I will never do business with this guy again. I do not trust him nor feel comfortable with him. He was the cheapest technician available at the time that did pickups and deliveries and serviced the Juno dial up. The Geek Squad stopped servicing the dial up. Fortunately, I can now afford the broadband internet since the provider gave me a discount for the time being. This technician had a family member who was an executive of the property management of the Bergen Mall where his computer shop was located. The internet now says AJ computers is temporarily or permanently closes.

He offered a " free" diagnostic and told me he would clean up the machine and make it faster for $100. I got it home, and since I rarely use the machine I activated it seversl months later. The same blue screen errors appeared, it went to DOS and crashed just as it had when i first brought it in, and I called Brian Skaff who told me to bring it in again. I did; left it there a few days and he again insisted NOTHING happened when they tested it. He said the laptop was fine. At this point I began to question what I had spent $100 for. My question to him when I got it home and AGAIN I got check sum errors and blue screen was what exactly did I pay for? This is a laptop 7 years old rarely used. I would have appreciated during the "free" diagnostic an honest appraisal, that the machine was beyond repair, instead I was charged $100 for I don't know what. I explained I was an ipad user, and asked him what he did for the $100. Brian became agitated with me, blamed me since when in his possesion "there was nothing wrong" ultimately I took pictures of the blue screens and emailed them. At this point he concluded it may be a hard drive problem( as I had originally suspected) and quoted me a price of 289 roughly to fix. Am I a fool? $289 plus the 100 already spent buys an new laptop. This man is defensive, corrupt, and takes advantage of someone like me who is financially strapped and not computer savvy. I repeatedly advised him as an ipad user I would be using the laptop rarely and that I was likely to bring it home store it and not use it for months, but when and if I needed it I expected it to work.
