There aren't enough superlatives in the dictionary to describe how pleased we are with our steel siding project! The materials are beautiful and look even better than we imagined. We really love the Dutch Lap style that creates a nice deep "shadow" and has prominent woodgrain. The installers, Keith and Kevin, were fantastic! Again, not enough superlatives to describe their perfectionism and attention to detail. Our house is complicated with many angles and they even had to cut trim around two quarter-round windows which required very fine work. We also have two hexagonal windows and two trapezoid, none of which fazed them at all, thanks to their many years of experience. Our experience with McVay has been everything we expected, based on a friend's recommendation. They also raved about how their project turned out and how easy it was to work with Keith and Kevin, who are kind, friendly and very professional. My husband and I purchased a home a little over 20 years ago that had problems with the double doors on each floor going out on the decks and a garden window. All let in too much cold air(not air tight at all)....we had tried to have the problems corrected by replacing the worst ...one of the double doors and the garden window...to no avail....the companies that we hired to do them did not do a good job. Finally decided again to try to correct the problems....did some research and thought McVay Brothers was the answer. This last week their crew came out...as they came in, our first thought was ..."they were so young"...but then we are so old 70-80's. As they went to work, we were very impressed with their experience, professionalism, and just overall how nice they were. Zach, Shaden and Johnte did a great job with the doors and we are looking forward to the replacement of the garden window...which was on back order. Highly recommend McVay Brothers. read more

Ordered windows from them through our local building supply company for our new building, one of the windows had some dirt and imperfections between the pane and one of the awning window openers had a piece break in less than a year. Also, the screens for the windows did not fit properly. Called customer service to deal with these issues and have called, emailed, called again and again, etc. and they have given promises with little results and this has been going since early July. We have spent way too much time trying to get them to do what they should be doing. The windows do have a lifetime warrenty but what good is that if they can't seem to communicate with you in a timely fashion and take care of the problem. I think they need to hire more people and train the ones they have in what customer service is and not ignore customer requests. Coeur D Alene Windows: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! after fighting with this company over their lack of customer service i finally received my windows three weeks after the original delivery date. they showed up in what appeared to be a rented truck after 5 pm and laid the windows flat on the concrete garage floor. anyone in the window business will tell you not to lay windows flat on the floor! i have been in construction for 30 years and a repeat customer of theirs and i can tell you i will never use them again! they did not like that i put negative reviews on the internet, so Mr McVay (yes this company is owned by McVay brothers) said he would reimburse me the cost of the windows if i would take down my reviews. that was two weeks ago and i have not heard back from him. i guess, after the sale, this company doesn't care if their customers are happy... read more

We loved working with McVay Brothers starting with the quote to the finished product. We were never left hanging and all of our questions were answered promptly. Everyone we interacted with was fantastic. Our house looks like new again! McVay replaced our siding and installed new windows. Matt and Jay did the work and they were great. We spent $10,000 on a metal roof that leaks. They wont even return my call. I have called them 4 times since 01/01/16 and requested repairs, and they have still not contacted me. Three of the calls, I spoke with a person that stated that she would put in the work order and have someone call to arrange a time to come out. It is now 028/07/16 and I still have not heard from anyone. Do Not Use This Company!!! read more

We had the windows in our house replaced and they did an amazing job. The windows came out perfect and will save us a ton on our monthly utility bill. They made sure to explain all the differences in glass type and benefits of each so we could pick the ones that are most beneficial to our home.
