I eventually went to the office next door to ask if I could check in there. They explained it was a different office but told me the staff was probably running a few minutes late. One of the staff arrived around 11:08 AM. While eight minutes may not seem like a major delay, the bigger concern was that the office was completely closed with no sign, notice, or communication letting patients know someone would be arriving late. The staff was nice and I understand that unexpected delays happen, but I believe a medical office should be open during its posted hours or at least communicate with patients when staff are running late. A simple notice or phone message would have made this experience much more professional.

The front desk gives you the run-around and forces you to call other numbers rather than taking ownership and solving the problem. To make matters worse, the office/billing manager is incredibly condescending. ​The tipping point was being charged a "missed appointment fee" for an error they made. When they called to confirm my insurance info, they explicitly told me verbally that my appointment was on Tuesday. When I showed up/followed up, they claimed it was a different day and slapped me with a fee for their own mistake. ​The incompetence doesn't stop there. They refused to deal with my secondary insurance, ignoring the clear instructions on the card because they didn't want to do their part and contact them. ​As for the actual medical care, it's a joke. They spend about five minutes with you just to rush you out with a basic Walmart formulary prescription. They clearly prioritize high patient turnover over quality care and basic respect. Save yourself the stress and go somewhere that actually knows how to run an office.
