Your SEO and potential leads will fall off over time and make you wonder why exactly you are spending ~$500 a mo to host a website. Their TOS (which depending on viewing ND's or LV's were last updated in 2024) do not reflect Oregon's current anti auto renewal law ORS 646A.295, or Delaware's (6 Del. C. § 2734) in which ND does not provide a quick and concise way to cancel, a proper prior 30 day notice pre renewal sent out, and no prior consent before charging payment for renewal. This effectively makes whatever contract they are attempting to enforce null and void. If you are a current customer of ND look at the TOS attached to your contract. EVEN IF you follow their guidelines with the email 30 days prior to your contract expiring, it seems that they can't even follow their own guidelines. See the attached photo from another customer dated April 2022. Our process to attempt a cancellation was infuriately slow with ND taking every opportunity to stall, meander, and delay the process. I was told I needed to pay $130 in taxes and fees for a new phone, as Patricia stated my device from T-Mobile would not transfer online--something the Verizon store on Route 6 (huge shoutout to Liam and his manager) was able to do without any issues. After getting my line fixed at the real Verizon store, I returned to the TCC the same day to return the phone. That's when I was told I'd have to pay a $100 restocking fee (double what Verizon stated and double what was shown on the receipt they printed for me, as I was not given one upon leaving). When I mentioned calling Verizon corporate, Patricia dismissively said, "Okay then," and I left. After speaking with Verizon's corporate support, they confirmed that I should be refunded in full, minus a $50 restocking fee, not $100. When I went back to the store, I kept the Verizon representative on the phone to ensure I was charged correctly. At that point, Patricia stated she didn't know how much I would be refunded, and it all depends on what comes up in her system. She refused to refund $79.99, claiming it was a "service fee" to the store for activating my line, and in addition to the $50 restocking fee, she charged me $8.60 in tax for the return. Thankfully, the Verizon representative on the phone assured me that I would be refunded the money the store was keeping-- as Verizon would credit my account for the difference. Customers during all of these exchanges noted similar concerns, stating it is always a problem dealing with this store, and one family I was speaking to even left after waiting an hour because she was helping three people at once, while one employee couldn't access most concerns because Patricia is the only one with authority/credentials for the store. This entire ordeal was a nightmare, and I would never recommend this TCC store. If you need any Verizon-related service, go to the official Verizon store on Route 6 instead. *Note- take notice of how the responses all state "we look forward to working with you again" and mention the store location to "satisfied" customers. Do NOT EVER hire this law firm. Attorney William "Bill" Peters is a swindler and a hack. I gave Attorney Peters $16,000 over the course of 2020 to handle a case for me (he asked for $10,000 on 10-19-2020 in an engagement letter and then later said he needs more). After I gathered discovery / evidence that he asked me to gather and also paid $3500 to an expert attorney and CPA witness, Attorney Peters did NOTHING with all of the information submitted to him. He never submitted anything to Lackawanna County (evidenced by a motion for reciprocal discovery filed by ADA on 9-10-2021) or even spoke to the ADA on the case. Furthermore, when I asked Attorney Peters to please submit all discovery to the ADA, he refused to and said that he wants to see the ADA "...fumble at trial...". Then he proceeded to tell me that the initial retainer was "...exhausted..." and asked me for an additional $19,000 to prepare and proceed at trial. The expert witness asked for an additional $15,000. I was quoted $30,000 to $35,000 maximum on this matter. Simple math shows I would have been at $53,500 which is WAY over what was quoted. The disgusting part is the discovery / evidence proves beyond a doubt that the charges are bogus and the case should be dismissed by the Lackawanna County DA's office (if they actually would look at the case). Upon granting of Attorney Peters' motion to withdraw, he proceeded to tell the judge on the case that he is refunding $4000. How was his retainer "exhausted" previously, yet he refunded me 25% of the $16,000? I then proceeded to ask multiple times on email, text and phone calls for an accounting of his firm's fees and billable hours as per the firm's engagement letter and I received no response and no accounting. I finally received a check for $4000 of the $16,000 after almost 4 weeks. There are actual honorable law firms out there that do what they say they are going to do and actually work for their client's best interest like The Munley Law Firm 570-865-4699 and like Attorney Paul Walker of Scranton 570-344-2355 and many others.
