Kevin ( the son) met with me one evening and we signed a contract 30 minutes later. It was a great decision on my part. Knowing nothing about pools, Kevin patiently explained why some of my ideas were not ideal. He had some great counter suggestions complete with pics and brochures. We settled on a design that maximized my pool size while fitting perfectly into my layout. They came out, worked hard, in sometimes very wet conditions to get the job done. Three years later I couldn't be more pleased. It has become the family hub for summer fun. I have a grandson that now moves in for the summer to stay in the pool! Kevin also "has a guy" to do the concrete, electrical and pool heater needs. The few times I've had to call Kevin with any issues he has either come out quickly or contacted the electrician or heating guy for me and then they showed up promptly and solved the issue. Super nice guy who obviously knew his stuff. The dispatcher was also great. He suggested I also get the water shut-off valves replaced while they were there since they were older and leaking. I didn't feel like I was being pressured to do something that was unnecessary but rather that he was just suggesting work that made sense to also take care of while they were there. I appreciated the advice and agreed to the extra work. The new faucet looks great and works perfectly. Even with the extras the total cost was less than the quotes I got from other local places. I'll be calling them again soon to take care of my wonky bathtub faucet as well.

He explained to me how my service was guaranteed for a year and that they'd gladly come by to replace my toilet for the new one of purchased at no cost. They showed up on time, kept me updated throughout the day and finished the job quickly. Now I have a new functioning toilet so thank you! Re-update They misquoted me on the replacement of the 2nd toilet which I had them do at the same time as the other I had issues with. (told me it would be $120-130 and the other one was free of charge) and now charging me $248. Also the bathroom smells SO BAD now. It smells like sewer water.

My regular technician, Butch, is awesome--reliable, knowledgeable, and genuinely great to work with. Over time we've developed a solid personal relationship, which says a lot about the kind of people Douglas Aquatics employs. Today really stood out. I called with a chemical issue, and within 90 minutes, Joy, the new service coordinator, and John, the service manager, personally showed up at my house. That kind of response time is almost unheard of and speaks volumes about their customer-first orientation. Joy has been absolutely wonderful since taking over my account--responsive, thoughtful, and clearly focused on making sure customers are taken care of. John is a true chemical magician. He diagnosed and fixed the issue in about 10 minutes, but what impressed me just as much was how he handled the moment. He took the time to mentor Joy during the visit, walking her through exactly what he was doing and why. At the same time, he did an excellent job explaining the issue and solution to me as the owner in clear, layman's terms, which I genuinely appreciated.
