Dr. Cox and everyone at Meadow Brook is wonderful. I would not trust my baby to anyone else.

We paid additional per day for daycare thinking our pup would at least get to play outdoor and won't be locked inside all the time but daycare meant all day outdoor so he came home with sunburn and limping because of blisters on his paws. We were not taken to see the outdoor area but certain they do have umbrellas. However, we don't know how crowded it was and if there were enough shady spots for all. All day outdoor in the summer was brutal. I suppose all is normal condition under boarding facilities so we will not be boarding ours again.

Update: this issue still remains unresolved. Still waiting on a call back from the owner after…read moreweeks of playing phone tag. I'm sure there are kind people who work here, but we are very dissatisfied with our experience. We trusted this facility to properly monitor and care for our Australian Shepherd while we were away, paying around $50 per night plus tip. When we picked him up yesterday, we were told he had a hotspot and had been favoring one leg. At pickup, his foot was very red, but there was no visible blood. By the time we got him home, his foot was noticeably bleeding and the condition was worse than we were led to believe. This was not something that happened overnight and should have been attended to. Today we took him to the vet, where we learned that infection had already set in. The visit cost us an additional $150, and he is currently unable to put weight on his foot and will need at least a week to recover. We attempted to contact the facility through both the website and email and have yet to receive any response. While we understand mistakes can happen, this situation is not acceptable. I would encourage anyone looking for attentive care and communication to look elsewhere.

I have worked…read morewith every vet and vet tech and cannot say enough about how wonderful the care has been we have received. From puppy to passing, this clinic has done everything they can to treat us and our pets with the utmost respect and care. And not just one single doctor, but we have seen Dr. Tate, Dr. Wood, Dr. LeBlanc, Dr. Dodgen, Dr. Campbell and most recently Dr. Ball. I wouldn't hesitate to have any one of them work with us and our furry babies. Their app makes it super easy to make appointments, order meds and even chat with the clinic to work out plans for boarding, questions and just about anything that I become concerned about. We've dealt with being attacked by other dogs, wild animals, Rocky Mtn Spotted Fever from a tick bite and even rat poison ingestion. And each and every time I knew that Fisher, Bailey, Garfield and Maggie would have the best chance at any recovery in the hands of Riverview. And if not, their compassion (especially when it was time for our two 18 year old Springers to cross the rainbow bridge) was beyond what I could ask for. Don't think twice, you are in the best care at RAC.

Most of our check ups are routine. Of course there have been a couple of hiccups in between time because dogs will be dogs. Both dogs had a vaccine resistant kennel cough and had not been treated for it, one dog had pneumonia. I chose this place because it had a veterinary clinic attached and was assured my pets would be seen if needed. This definitely was not the case. I spent 3X the amount I spent on boarding trying to save my dogs from what they caught at this facility. The vet at the emergency care mentioned the volume of animals at the facility was probably a contributing factor. Never again! Don't be fooled by this new and modern looking place.

That means it is very hard to deal with at a Vet office. The owner met me one day and said, "Bring Otis in during your walk. We will give him treats and he can get familiar with our place. I did just that, and Otis started to take me to the front door so he could see his new friends (unbelievable) and get treats. This morning, I took Otis in for an actual visit with the Vet. A vet assistant was educated in these kinds of dogs. She educated me, gave me some sedatives for the next visit and explained that these small bullies are simply like this sometimes. Otis got a shot for the flu (I highly recommend) stool sample, heart and teeth checked. He also got a q-tip in the ear. I had to hold him tight, but it was fine. The staff showed calm professionalism. The facility is pristine, and the parking is plentiful. They have day care, VIP Day care and boarding. Amazing place and so nice for us. I highly recommend.
