Last year, maintenance came to measure the carpet and told me everything was approved and that I would receive a date for installation. After that, nobody followed up, called, or scheduled anything. This year, during lease renewal, I brought the issue up again because the carpet is in very bad condition. During the winter, water was coming in from the back door due to snow, leaving a large stain in the living room area. I explained that if replacing the carpet was not possible, I would at least appreciate having it professionally cleaned. I spoke with Rob, who repeatedly told me that Carissa would contact me to discuss options. I was also told someone would call me back after I contacted the main company directly. It has now been several weeks, and nobody has called, followed up, or even given me a clear answer. What is most disappointing is not only the lack of action, but the lack of communication and professionalism. A simple phone call with an honest answer would have been appreciated instead of being ignored for over a year. At this point, I will have to clean the carpet myself, but I felt it was important to share my experience for future tenants.

The place reminds me of a downtown N.Y. hotel; a spacious lobby and dining room. The selections on the menu seem pretty nice. The views of the Hudson are fantastic. The tenants have nice rooms, step in showers, kitchens, and closets, housekeeping service, and a degree of independence. The property is clean, doesn't smell, the staff was keeping the dining room clean. It's not like a traditional nursing home or some of the senior living arrangements I've seen where it was depressing. They have a monthly calendar, activities and outings. It's not far from route 9 or the Peekskill Metro North train station. There's plenty of visitor parking in front of the building.
