Tee boxes were in tough shape and the greens needed to be mowed. They rolled really slow. Facilities- 3 nice pro shop, bar, patio, driving range, putting and chipping greens. There was also a nice restaurant Challenge- 2 this course is extremely difficult and not for beginners. I won't return to this course until I lower my handicap.

HOF Fitness Center is a great place to work out if you can stomach the 70s paint scheme and some of…read morethe out-of-date equipment. I have been working out here for many years, off and on, and haven't had anyone shout "Fatty fatty 2x4" for some time so the place must be effective. They have a smattering of racquetball courts and there are some very, very, very sweaty men in them sometimes. I like to pretend they are just sweaty fish in a giant aquarium and that helps me cope. The locker rooms (at least the guys) is well appropriated and has shaving cream, after shave, etc. and gives off a very "old guard" feel. Upstairs they have a weight room which seems to have a 20:1 guy to girl ratio, which freaks my date out a bit from time to time but no "tough guys" have given her any problems. Check it out, they have an indoor running track. I think that it's 1/10 of a mile so if you use it you get the feel of running around a giant banyan tree. On an island in the middle of the running track (sounds more exotic than it is) they have all the cardio equipment. They have a cute little board that you can use to sign up for equipment and there is this guy named "Cookie" who works out there and my date always changes the i-dot in "Cookie" to a heart when she can, which we find to be a really good time. Give "Cookie" a shout out if you see him; he's a crusty looking, shorter fellow. You'll know what I mean if you see him. The good thing is that there is never much of a crowd here so you can pretty much use whatever equipment you want when you want it. However, here is the highlight of the HOF Fitness Center: you know those fat-shakers that are basically like a big rubber band that you put around your midsection and don't appear to have any fitness value whatsoever but are always featured in workout videos from the 50's? THEY HAVE ONE OF THOSE! We saw a guy using it one day in all seriousness and it's probably one of the best things I've ever seen in my entire life. The facility is fairly large and also has both an indoor and outdoor pool, saunas, whirlpool, tennis and basketball courts and even batting cages. They also have a little restaurant so if you overdid it during the workout you can get your sea legs back. The classes that they offer are great and the teachers I've encountered are all very friendly. I don't have a monthly membership now but when I've been in town they have let me pay a per visit fee ($5, I think?). It's a great place to work out. The $5 is worth it alone if you see someone using that fat-shaker or if you have a "Cookie" sighting.

My son really enjoyed being there. There are plenty of lounge chairs and even though we arrived late in the day, we still found enough chairs for seven of us all together. It was busy, but not awful in terms of crowds. I would still probably prefer to go next time on a weekday. They do offer refreshments and the kids enjoyed ice cream treats. My nephew also had some sort of chicken and he said it was really good. Parking is a little haphazard with not a lot of space to maneuver and lots of golf carts driving in every which way. Overall, nice refreshing spot for a summer dip.

Nice golf carts, decent cart paths. Pace was backed up. Condition- 4 well maintained but there was a lot of recent construction looked like torn down trees Facilities- 4 nice pro shop, but bar/ snacks are limited. Nice patio, driving range, putting and chipping greens. Challenge- 5 this course is beginner to intermediate friendly with plenty to challenge scratch golfers. Most hazards come from the trees on dog legs but most holes were straight flat and open I'll definitely be returning!

Greens are somewhat fast but very playable for everyone. The club house staff is excellent I've been a member for several years at other area courses not one of them come close to the service you receive at Pleasant View. The carts are in good condition and i have never had a problem where there were not enough carts. There is a store across the street for beverages and snacks which makes it very convenient. The restrooms are clean although sometimes the men go into the woman's restroom. ( they are single toilet bathrooms). Those are my pros, my cons are sometimes there is never any water in the ball cleaner and there is only like one cleaner. There are no porta potties anywhere so it happens often that when you shank your ball into the pine trees and go to look for it you will most likely run into someone taking a leak. Over all its a great course that is taken care of and it provides a good amount of privacy when your golfing.

All the pros there are amazing each one has their unique take on the game and therefore you receive a wealth of info and strategy to take your game to the next level. The newly resurfaced courts are the best around ! If you've never played and are looking for a place to start call the club and they will be happy to get you into the appropriate group . If you've been playing awhile and looking for a place to hone your skills then look no further. This is my home away from home . Come check it out !
