My child was neglected by staff that sat on the floor on camera while another child pushed her into a book shelves after the incident happened she still say ok the floor very unbothered until another staff came running across the room to assist the situation. Addressed it with the front staff claimed they don't see it I stated it happened on camera apparently they have mock cameras because everytime you see something harmful happen to the child they will most definitely say they don't see so it's a figment of your imagination I guess. My child has contracted COVID, RSV and STRIP THROAT I addressed the sickness within her class after see the kid laying around teachers constantly wiping his nose and the OWNER and the then Director Sreeja lied to my face on several occasions saying the child was not sick just getting over a common cold but not contagious. Then lies on boo boo reports on what really happens to your child. The owner doesn't exhibit stable knowledge of how to professionally and safely to run her business she routes you to anyone in the front even to make a tuition payment that's the most knowledgeable thing you should know when running a business is how to get paid for your services. I've several meetings with her and the then director and not much changed. The turn over rate is very high there always having to get to know a new teacher. The now current director there Jamelly I don't feel is suitable for her role being that she's very spiteful and not truthful when speaking with same as the other director was I'm guessing this is a character trait to work within this facility that they will lie to your face and expect you to be ok will them learning to properly care for your child as the days go by. She covered for a teachers who miss kids I spoke with her about a teacher miss treating my child and of course the camera didn't catch it and the teacher denied it. I've spoken to the owner and the then curriculum coordinator now turn assistant director to about providing more learning assignments and progress on that was still coming along slowly. I strongly feel this location is and embarrassment to the Kids R Kids franchise which is why the child enrollment rating is low best advice move your child to surrounding schools that offer best education, accurate safety and trustworthy teachers and staff. High Don't Recommend this center of your wanting your child to elevate.

Their curriculum is play and project based, inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach. They have Spanish class, as well as optional gymnastics and soccer classes. They are very safe and cautious in terms of COVID pandemic rules -- and when the case load gets better for a prolonged time, then they reassess. One of the things my family has most appreciated is their COVID policy. All teachers wear masks, and all kids above a certain age (3ish) wear masks as well -- aside from when eating & optionally when playing outside. They have chickens outside, a flower and vegetable garden, and rabbits and 2 aquariums inside. Right now, some of the classes are raising caterpillars into moths and butterflies, and they have just harvested some of the chicken eggs and will get to incubate them and watch them hatch! Such great experiences for kids of all ages to have. They provide gourmet lunches made in-house from fresh ingredients, many of which are organic. On Friday afternoons, you can also buy some of their house-made goodies -- they have an assortment of baked goods, desserts, soups, and savory/main dishes. If you are late on Fridays, they may sell out of certain items.

I have…read moreasked the director, assistant director, operations manager, front desk staff, and teachers to be transparent with me regardless if it's positive or negative. My child was 18 months when I enrolled her and My child loved going to school. Unfortunately that only lasted 2 months and the lead teacher had to leave due to personal reasons and was not planning on returning. The school was already training a new teacher to be lead but did not inform any of the parents about it. When I asked when the former teacher would return they told me she would be back in a couple of weeks even when they knew she was not returning. the teacher told me herself she was not coming back and she said the owner knew about it, but lied regardless. Once the new lead teacher started, she was taking many days off because of personal reasons. She later informed me she was not working physically at the school and was helping remotely. The school never informed me of this. In fact my child started behaving out of character. she said she did not want to go to school and would cry at the hand off in the front. When I inquired about this, They made me believe it was my child's fault when in reality they knew the issues they were having. When I had my parent teacher conference with the new lead, she disclosed many many things to me. She mentioned that she has been out of the classroom for sometime and that my child was not the only one crying during hand off. She mentioned that many parents complained about kids coming home with diaper rashes and not being fed properly. She told me it was so bad that she was going to call licensing herself. She Also gave me recommendations to another school because she told me I should take my child out. They were combining two classrooms together of children from 18-24+ months because they were understaffed. My child was sent home with a dirty diaper multiple times. When I asked for before and after pictures of my child's lunch I was told by the owner and director that I should just assume that she doesn't eat in school. I told her this is not helpful especially when my child is in the 6% in her weight. They said they provide chef prepared meals but I have shared pictures of the food that's provided. Their grilled cheese is just two pieces of cold bread with cold cheese, their fruit is canned and served multiple days in a row along with the canned green beans. Their chicken nuggets are frozen. I've even been told by an ex employee that they freeze the fruit and if they don't have enough time to thaw it out then the kids are eating frozen fruits. I was told by a different ex employee that they recycle the food too. I expressed the concern of not being able to speak to my childs teacher on a daily basis to get updates and that it's concerning how secretive they are about things. The teachers actually seem scared to tell parents anything. Yes they once had an amazing reputation which is why I chose TLVS, but that has all gone down hill once they moved locations. I know of many parents who have taken their children out of the school. They claim that all teachers are certified but not all of them are Montessori certified. They also have violations on the Texas Department of health and safety. Check them out. Today when I was dropping her off to class I saw one of her teachers being rough with a child and that child was crying. This is not the Montessori way of dealing with an upset child. You don't just squeeze their hand tightly and pull them across the room to sit by themselves. I could tell the teacher was overwhelmed and the teacher did not have an adequate assistant teacher in there to help. The person who was in there was a front desk employee who was in there just to have a body in there for ratio reasons but was not actually helping. So glad I'm sending her to another school and she is finally happy again!
