The Meadows Hotel is a small boutique fully restored establishment with a good atmosphere and restaurant. It's grandeur is beautiful! We had the privilege of staying in the Presidential suite and it didn't disappoint. Every detail has been thought of in this grand room! If you want to entertain there is plenty of room. When entering the suite area there is a separate seating area and large bathroom separate from the room. The suite includes a full size ice machine, small refrigerator, bar, glassware, sink, microwave and large screen TV. The king size bed is so comfortable and overlooks a pretty park with a fountain. The bathroom is huge with a fabulous large bathtub. You can fill your tub full and not run out of hot water. I wish there had been some bubble bath liquid, maybe next time the hotel will provide bubbles? The bar and restaurant was fun and the service was great! We ordered the egg rolls, lobster and bang bang shrimp, large side salad and corn soufflé. Next time we will pass on the corn and bang bang shrimp, not our favorite. Everything was good just not what we were expecting. I would rather have the corn served with the pork chop on the menu because the corn is more like a dressing type dish and it is sweet with cinnamon. The bang bang shrimp was good but not memorable mainly because it was fried and the sauce served on the side. In the beautiful lobby there is a baby grand piano. Having someone playing would have been nice. The hotel is very very clean with free parking!! Everyone was friendly and willing to accommodate with a happy smile. So refreshing to come to a place where you feel relaxed, comfortable and pampered. Thank you for a memorable, affordable Presidential suite $250.00 a night stay, we will return!! read more

We all came for a birthday dinner for our friend's 21st birthday, customer service was TERRIBLE!!! First off it took us two hours to get water and our food, they were out of everything. Our waitress Kyra was SO RUDE! She was cussing about our table in the back. When we would ask for something like water she would say "yea when i get a second" and it still would take HOURS! Very sassy and ill-mannered, all in all would not recommend to anyone!!!! read more

The Meadows Hotel is a fabulous boutique hotel right in the middle of downtown Fulton, Kentucky. The place is over 100 years old, meticulously restored and refurbished, and completely up to modern standards. It's charming from bottom to top! The lobby features an old time corner entrance off the street. Inside you'll find the manager's counter and the bellhop's stand. The lobby is tastefully decorated with plenty of comfortable seating that looks out on the street. Accommodations are VERY reasonable. You can take the elevator or use the stairs to reach your room. The rooms are equal to those in upscale, big city hotels! The carpet is PLUSH. The beds are soft and comfy with plenty of quilts and blankets. The bathroom towels are SUMPTUOUS. Through a large side door in the lobby you'll find a first class bar and dining room. It opens in the late afternoon. Across the street in Tennessee (no kidding - the state line runs right through the center of town!) you can get a tasty, modestly priced breakfast Buttercup's Bistro. We think The Meadows Hotel would be a great place for a small wedding party. You could reserve the entire place for family and guests, and enjoy great meals and celebration at the very same spot! If you are visiting Fulton, Clinton or the surrounding area, I highly recommend The Meadows. The room was very clean and, although small, had everything we needed. The mattress was one of the best I've experienced at a hotel. Everyone was friendly. There is convenient parking behind the building. We received a voucher for breakfast at a nearby cafe so both of us ate a large breakfast for $5. Check in/out couldn't have been easier. I also liked that this is clearly a community-minded business -- they were hosting a fundraiser for a local family the night we were there. There was some noise -- slamming doors and children? running in the room above us -- but everything got quiet about 11 p.m. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area. read more

Review for restaurant: The food was hot and delicious but the service was not good. Our server was Carly,,,I believe. We ordered an appetizer but didn't receive it until we got our meal. The server brought out the app with my husbands dinner and then walked away without saying anything about not having my food. I waited probably five minutes before she brought my food and again, didn't say anything about not having it brought out with my husbands. She dropped my plate off and walked away. The app was also supposed to have a sauce that comes with it and when I asked her about it, she yelled across the dining room to her manager asking if sauce came with the app. She also was nowhere to be found for most of our meal, leaving our drinks empty for a good amount of time, After dropping off the check, she didn't say anything to us. No "have a nice night, thanks for dining with us" nothing. I give it 4 stars because my salmon and my husbands steak were both excellent and our food was hot which is why we would go back again, but if we do, I'm definitely asking for a different server. read more

Stayed her due to an activity at UT Martin. Would have never heard of it, but the Hampton Inn suggested it due to them only having king rooms left. We booked in advance. Was told we would be in room 9, and that was emailed to us. We knew we were going to be checking in late, the front desk called us to confirm our arrival and tell us about their late check in process (desk closes at 10). We get there and key to room 13 is left for us. Room 13 is a king, not the double we reserved for the 3 people in our group. We called the fd, already closed and left a message. Went to the bar, and they were able to call the owner who was out of town. We were given 2 options... go elsewhere or take it. Disturbing at 11pm in the middle of no where. Then he told us that we were bumped to this room due to a 3 room group that was staying 8 nights and no one notated that we needed a double. So our email confirmation was worthless. He did say he would comp our room. Waiting to see if that happens. 1 person had to sleep on the floor in our group. Really not acceptable. I would have thought they would have called and asked us before moving us. Guess it was to make more money in the end. We went down for Continental breakfast, never found it. Just a small room with a few pitchers of water. read more

Really can't say enough about this property. In all honesty, I live 1 mile away, but I have stayed here for events. My company utilizies this hotel for VIP clients & the service is second to none. I actually think they revisit because of the unforgettable stay. Many have requested the name of the mattress & pillow manufacturers. The restaurant is upscale & laid back all at the same time. Steaks to Salmon, they have it. Even wine & Champagne by the bottle. It's the only place to stay in the Ken Tenn area that gives you southern hospitality with a city vibe. read more

From poor service, mediocre food, and lack of accountability from the owner this was a horrible restaurant experience. There is not much in the town of Fulton Kentucky. Thought this hotel was tucked into a downtown area which is serious need of revitalization. The hotel was great. It was loacted in an old building that was beautifully renovated. The restaurant had an excellent menu and the service was above par. Thought the room was very clean and mostly comfortable. The room temperature was hard to regulate. Was a little concerned of the keyless entry system. My room was #13 and the key pad entry was #1333. Not sure if they used the same code process for the other rooms. I wondered if room 14 keypad entry was #1444. Its important to feel safe in a room. However the shower water pressure was excellent. I would only suggest a few improvements. There is no ice machine and no glasses beyond coffee cups in the room. Thought the ceiling vents could use some attention. They were very dusty. The room had no alarm clock. Beyond this, everything else was comfortable. I would stay here again if the opportunity came along. read more

This hotel is dressed to impress! What a wonderful place. From the building to the staff, 10 out of 10, would do again! When we pulled up to park in the rear parking, I was immediately impressed with how cozy it felt, with the gas lamp fixtures by the back door and the outdoor patio with furniture where I could see myself sitting to enjoy a drink from the bar later. Enter and it's an educational experience with old pictures lining the walls of the hall way detailing the rich history of the hotel from the early 1900's which the kids enjoyed. The staff were warm and helpful. The room blew me away with how cozy it was with it's full length windows, plush thick carpet, beds that you melt into, extra seating for visiting guests, and a bathroom with a walk-in shower and thick towels that seem to hug you when using them. Get you belly full of food (or libations) at the restaurant. Very welcoming atmosphere, well designed and decorated. The bar is fully stocked with top shelf liquors, and draft or bottled beers. The food menu had quite the depth with many choices. Our waiter was very professional and courteous. And, there was a piano in the dining area (un manned for our visit) but I'm sure is quite enjoyable when playing. In all, completely blown away! I stayed in three hotels this same week, with this being my last one of the trip, and they couldn't have came remotely close to touching this place. The hotel looked gorgeous on AirBNB so my girlfriend booked it. We showed up and Jan at the desk didn't even know they took reservation through AirBNB. Jeff, the owner and man who's face is on the AirBNB link, initially refused to leave his private party he was attending. Jan, said sorry and recommended some chain hotels tens of miles away. After telling Jan that it was very poor customer service that the man whose face and name are on the account that posted the room which was confirmed and prepaid for didn't have the common courtesy to step out of his party, Jan went back into the party. A few minutes later Jeff came out, introduced himself, and said that the hotel had been booked for months, they're having issues with AirBNB booking correctly, and that he was "sorry but there's nothing I can do!" He offered no solutions or ideas in receiving a refund other than his assurance, but did mention "this is going to cost me $100 for canceling the reservation". It's a shame...the hotel looked super nice. Too bad the customer service doesn't match the decor!!! read more

Wow! Great atmosphere and accommodations. We stayed a weekend and enjoyed great food and top notch service. My wife especially loved the character of the place with each room uniquely decorated. She's from the Deep South and said the hospitality made her feel right at home. If you're doing something at UTM this is the best place to stay! read more
