The cozy cabin is a small home. It was cozy and warm with two heat sources. The inside was like an A frame log cabin-very cute. The shower worked great with really hot water. Just beware that the tank will run out of steamy water if you take a marathon shower as I do. But it was great- hot, steamy, and ample water pressure. Great coffee maker with tea or coffee options. Bunk beads the top was a little intimidating so I slept on the futon. Great pilllows and blankets. Great Netflix service. Great internet-Starlink. Great porch with a bar b q; picnic table, and heater barrel. The porch has chairs for relaxing. Very welcoming staff or owners. Will bend over backwards to be helpful and accommodating. And there is a refrigerator, microwave, and plates and plastic utensils. Will definitely return. read more

Pleasant relaxed atmosphere with great views. The restrooms are immaculate however the laundry was somewhat messy. The park would benefit by a bit more of management presence. We will definitely be staying there again. read more

This place offered me a picturesque, amazing getaway from the city. Mike is super nice and helpful. The park regulars are very friendly, and the location is just stunning. My girlfriend and I stayed in the bungalow, which is such a great choice if you do not have your own RV. It came with a nice, hot shower, two comfy beds, tv, a table, an outdoor firepit, and a propane grill with an extra burner. Mike stocked the place with pots and pans, making it super easy to clean. We spent one day at the grand canyon, and the next day just wandering the local area. It is in the middle of a Joshua tree forest, with lots of local trails and sights to see. I can't say enough good things about Meadview RV park. The camp host Jessie made us feel like family. The park it self is clean and well cared for. There are perfect tent sites with barbecues level nicely sized lots for trailers and beautiful sunsets. The regulars there are the nicest people and the nearby town has gas and ice. Lake mead is 17 miles away to the boat ramp and 19 miles to the Colorado river as it pours out from the Grand Canyon. We like to stay at smaller non chain parks and Meadview RV park is the best we have seen. The website is also top notch with pictures of each site something even the big chains don't offer. The owner is nearby and it's obvious he really cares about his guests and their stay. Perfect spot! read more

This place is full of loose dogs. We witnessed a couple of dog fights and one camper's little dog was attacked. So beware if you are traveling with pets! The showers are coin operated. Sites are pretty small. Positives They do honor a Good Sam discount, and have some 50 amp spots, but the full time residents do rule here. Close to the small town of Meadview and Grand Canyon Skywalk is about a half mile away. the owner is super nice and the view is breathtaking! read more

First timers this May 2018 and found this RV park like 20 mins away from the Grand Canyon west entrance I think. Super helpful owner and he even shared with us that we can see a great sunset and a picturesque Grand Canyon changing colors as the sun sets. They have a couple of friendly dogs and a huge turtle by the office. We played horseshoes and ate and chilled outside and slept so peacefully!theres cute little cottages and cabins in between the rv parking too. Hook ups and outdoor bathroom if needed. read more

I just returned from a 5 days trip to the GPAA gold claims in the Gold Basin area of Northwestern Arizona. We choose the Meadview RV park for multiple reasons, not only location but the availability of cabins for rent to use as our base of operations while we were prospecting. Mike the owner has done a fantastic job creating a place that is not just a campground/RV park but a place where your neighbors come and talk to you and give you advise and as if you need any help. The cabin was a great deal for us with a mini kitchen and hot shower when we needed it at the end of the day, with bedding and utensils included all we had to do was bring clothes and food for our trip. I will be back to The Meadview RV park in the near future no question about it. read more

I stayed here for a week while getting our family house ready to sell. As a retired Wildland Firefighter I have stayed in countless hotels across the western US for almost 20 years and I have seen it all, really good, really bad and everything inbetween. I reserved one of the cabins (cabin #3) and I wasn't sure what to expect, I figured it was going to be "good enough" but I never thought it would be so nice. When I got checked in and went to the cabin it was pleasantly surprised. It was a good size, everything worked as it should, it was CLEAN, (I mean no dust, dirt, anything in the corners, edges, under the beds, etc.) Bed linens were in great shape, well taken care of and clean, bathroom was CLEAN, towels were in great shape and futon bed was comfortable (I've had 2 spinal fusions so if a bed cheap or worn out it will kill my back, no issues at all with the futon). I never slept on the 2 bunk beds, so I can't speak to the comfort of those, but they were also in great shape and clean as well. Climate controls worked great and all appliances were clean and worked properly as well. The owner Mike was very helpful, knowledgeable and was great to deal with. The nightly rates were good and food/ice, etc sold at the park was priced right with no price gouging (for example 10# of ice cubes from Mike at the park was $2.00, at Family Dollar down the road they were selling 7# of cubes for $2.50. I know not a huge price difference but typically RV parks, campgrounds, etc take every opportunity to mark up ice, drinks, food just because it's on site and more convenient and the items I bought were priced appropriately. To me personally, it's all these little things that add up to a great stay). If I need lodging again in Meadview I will be going here in the future for my lodging needs, whether I need a campsite for our toyhauler or a cabin when we don't want to tow the trailer. Bottom line, good prices, nice helpful owners and staff and a clean, well equipped cabin. read more

We stayed three nights while visiting the skywalk and Hoover Dam. I cant say enough about how breathtaking the views were and so peaceful. The Joshua Trees and and the sunrise and sunsets. We were there with three of our grandchildren and out of all the campgrounds we stayed at with all kinds of amenities this was their favorite and are looking forward on returning some day. The owner, his dog Pete and Turtle Tank were very entertaining the kids loved them and Mike was so informative on all the surrounding area to visit and filling the kids in on the deserts habitats and and views. Next time we come we plan on staying a week. Thank You Mike for making our stay enjoyable. read more
