It did this a couple times over the next day or so. Finally it just died. Had to get it towed back to Gibbons. They discovered the motor had lost spark on the left side Causing the catalytic converters to be destroyed. They refused to accept responsibility. Another $1000 Out of my pocket. Drove it off again. Got 5 minutes down the road and the transmission issue happened again. I just cut my losses. I'm never going back and I suggest others to just stay away.

Amber Long was very professional, never pushy, always responded to my questions promptly as I was considering the purchase and I got a reasonable value on my trade. Ambermade pickup/closing a breeze and Logan Cavaliero went over the boat with me after the papers were signed. Being new to pontoons, when I got the boat home I went underneath to measure for trailer guides. My heart sank when I found a deep scratch in one of the pontoons. I was worried about longevity and being a new boat I was also concerned about warranty issues down the line. I sent some pictures off to Amber the following morning and I got a call from Logan only a couple hours later. Logan told me it was safe to use the boat for the rest of the season, that Sandpiper was ordering a replacement pontoon that they would install and bottom paint at no cost to me. I'm really impressed with Logan, Amber and the dealership. The damage was an unfortunate miss, but this was a great recovery and I've already told my friends on Chincoteague how happy I am with Sandpiper! Tom S.

We got breakfast at the Sage diner, then ran up the road to Sandpiper to see about getting a new ignition module for the console. When inquiring, the salesperson mentioned that they may have spare keys available to match our cylinder in the ignition. We had already popped out the ignition to it took a moment to check the code, confirm ownership, and Sandpiper solved our goof for about $12 instead of a $100+. While there, I purchased some fishing gear and browsed their isles. definitely a perfect spot for a wide variety of gear and activities on the eastern shore. I kept meaning to write this review and finally got around to it! We also fell in love with a used Sea Hunt... a guy can dream right? Thanks Sandpiper Staff!

Why is it that every time I'm on the Eastern Shore my car gives me ominous warning sounds. Three…read moredifferent icons on the console light up, which causes immediate panic. A quick look at the car manual tells me that it isn't a dire emergency. My tires are low on air. The car manufacturing powers that be obviously have decided that this issue requires constant reminder. So a stop at a friendly spot is needed to solve the problem. Bloxom Auto & Tire is my place of choice. I will drive many miles with the ominous lights glaring to avoid stopping anywhere else. The store is conveniently situated on Highway 13, the main artery up the Shore. The store is large & comforting, reminding me of places from my Mississippi youth. The garage & tire section is in a stand alone building adjacent. It is always staffed by a friendly person who corrects my problem with ease. Businesses such as this deserve to be frequented both by locals & the traveling public. Shop local, rather than at a chain auto supply store. Let's keep Bloxom in business for a long time.
