They have such a large and varied assortment of trees, which I thoroughly enjoy seeing. They usually carry are larger choice of trees than what I see there in Watertown. What I also enjoy is chopping it up with the employees here. I know my trees pretty well and they also understand the species, and sub-species; which ones are grafted, spliced, new subspecies and so forth. They also understand which ones handle sub-optimal conditions, which allows for better choice for choosing which trees. What's also a big adder in the decision making process is they also will work with you to throw in some meaningful discounts. All in all, I plan on returning more often and can't wait to see what's new for that season for tree planting.

I had planned on purchasing items any way, but the rudeness was overwhelming. I paid with my in-store credit and when I asked for my frequent purchase card to be returned to me...it was thrown at me. I walked out and couldn't believe what had just happened. Walked back in...threw on 'card' on the counter. DONE forever with them. Landscape Garden here I come. Much closer to my house too!

Characteristically bad customer service. In the years we've "tried" this location (41st) we've been…read moremet with scoffing and disrespect from staff - for asking questions! This isn't just a singular occurrence either, this is years of bad attitude. I'm certainly not the issue - I'll chat and laugh it up at the DMV (great people by the way). The employees that are younger are nice, but they don't have the information we seek, and they direct us to bitter, self-righteous ones. They need a self-checkout kiosk so there's no contact with the staff - at least not with the ones that have been there for too long. And do your research ahead of time if you do have to go so you can be helped by younger staff instead.
