So happy I switched to Seasons OBGYN. My first experience elsewhere felt impersonal, but here I…read morefelt supported right away. Dr. Kridgen answered everything, and Elsabeth M., RN, went above and beyond. I feel excited and confident about my care now.

Dr. Kristina Bishop has been my saving grace. Typically fertility and OB/GYN are very separate…read more(which is very frustrating to patients since it would seem like all women's health issues should fall under the same umbrella). However, Dr. Bishop has been the first OB/GYN to truly listen and provide different recommendations for our fertility struggles over the last 4 years. She actually recommended us to a new fertility clinic to begin IVF in which we were able to get pregnant for the second time. Unfortunately the pregnancy ended in a second miscarriage which was discovered in office with Dr. Bishop at 10 weeks. Her caring bedside manner was so impactful as my husband and I were going through such a horrible situation, and it's been SO different and refreshing compared to my first miscarriage experience with my old practice (Century Medical Associates-- highly do NOT recommend). I have recommended Seasons to ALL of my friends because the care is top notch and the all-women practice makes you feel at home, even when you may be going through a difficult situation. The fact these providers actually spend the time to listen to you AND provide sound recommendations is what makes them stand above the rest!

Disappointed twice with AHRC. I sought an appointment for an IUD replacement after relocating to…read morethe city and saw a ton of recommendations on Reddit. My first appointment (early December) was cancelled with less than 24 hours notice due to the physician's schedule. I lost a day of PTO due to that, but rescheduled for later in the month. For that appointment, I sent my updated insurance information by email, as they requested. Despite having 3.5 weeks to confirm, they called me 45 minutes before closing the day before my rescheduled appointment of time to say that, not only were they not able to confirm my insurance, but that my insurer told them I did not have an active plan (I do). Because the clinic called me less than an hour before closing, I was unable to connect with my insurer by phone to get the clinic confirmation. I ended up cancelling my appointment due to frustration and lack of any options provided by the most clinic's administrators. They would not allow me to bring proof of coverage to my appointment, a typical practice for any other reputable physician's office.

Exceptional Care. The office experience was positive. A clean & well organized practice. Honestly,…read moreI consider them a place of refuge. I went through my experience without anyone familiar present...but the women I encountered was nothing short of a perfect match. I may be forever changed because I can't stop thinking about their impact on me. -A Butterfly

Really surprised no one has reviewed Dr. Rehder's office yet! (This review is for the 580 S. Aiken…read moreAve. Pittsburgh, PA 15232 address btw. Not sure why Yelp has it listed as Liberty Ave. But this was the only entry for Karen Rehder MD....) I really like coming here because it's usually not very crowded. (Granted I come in the morning, so maybe that's the secret?) I usually visit her office during Thanksgiving break since I live in St. Louis and I only come to Pittsburgh to visit family for the holidays....it's apparently a great time for a pap smear, lol. Not too crowded. They have a parking garage in the back but I almost never use it because it's a tight fit. They will validate your parking though, so I *think* it's free, last I checked. I usually just park on Ellsworth, however, and walk 1 block to Aiken. It's not far of a hike at all....usually followed by shopping on Walnut street. :) The building itself is quite nice as well. Very much "green" in the architecture. Lots of glass used in both ceilings and walls to allow for maximum natural light in the daytime so electric bulbs aren't necessary. The people are great in this office. Everyone is very polite & friendly. The paperwork is usually minimal, even if you're a repeat customer, you have to update your insurance every so often which is pretty standard procedure. My nurses have all been wonderful--they love to make conversation whilst getting you weighed/doing blood pressure, etc. I've been going to this clinic for about 3-4 years now and I just last week had the pleasure of having Dr. Rehder perform my routine checkup on me. Usually I have a different doctor because Rehder is in high demand apparently, lol. I can see why. She's a really sweet woman who genuinely cares about the well-being of her patients. I had no problems asking her what some might call "embarrassing" questions (lol) and she did a great job of making sure all of my questions were answered. Also noteworthy: Dr. Rehder got her medical degree from Saint Louis University where I attend school, which I thought was quite fascinating seeing as I grew up in Pittsburgh and she grew up in North Dakota but we still ended up at the same school...pretty nifty. (Ask how many east coasters if they know about SLU...not many do...!) SLU has a great med program and I really love that Dr. Rehder's office really embraces the "Jesuit Mission" of being women & men for others! Overall, a 5-star experience every time. I cannot recommend her office enough. I only wish that I could find a doctor as good as her out here in St. Louis!

This is the practice I visit for my annual visit and they delivered my daughter…read more While I have seen most doctors in the practice and all have been competent, I prefer to see Dr. Carroll. Dr. Krupski, is also wonderful, but she can be more difficult to get an apt with. But both have taken so much time with me and are amazingly reassuring and very thorough. Dr. Carroll especially, though is the warmest soul I have met. She has held my hand while I cried and told me she would take care of me. I'm emotional and need a doctor who is like that. She's also very, very good from a technical standpoint. If neither are available, I also like Dr. Lareau and Dr. Noh. I have not met with Dr. Ichikawa. Dr. Woo would be my last choice, though I would go to her before switched practices. She has a cool bedside manner. One year, she actually had my entire annual exam done in 6 minutes and didn't ask me if I had any concerns. But still, some people want that, so I am not taking a star off. I am taking one star off for the office staff at the 51 office, however. The staff at the Magee office is much nicer to deal with on the phone.

We had an amazing natural childbirth that we prepared for with Bradley Method classes, and Drs Carroll (on duty when we arrived in triage) and Smith helped us to have a birth our nurses said was one of the most beautiful natural childbirths they'd ever seen. All of the obs in this practice are very kind women, on top of being incredible doctors. We are so happy with our experience with them, and are looking forward to being patients for many years to come.
