My experience with DeVry University has been frustrating and disappointing. From the very…read morebeginning, the enrollment process was marred by incorrect information. I was assured that my classes would be covered entirely by my employer, but now I'm facing unexpected charges that I shouldn't owe. The frequent changes in discounts have caused fluctuations in my tuition fees, sometimes varying by hundreds of dollars. This inconsistent billing has been a significant source of stress and distraction, making it hard to focus on my studies. Furthermore, it's nearly impossible to communicate effectively with a single representative, which only exacerbates the miscommunication issues. Although the online classes are relatively easy to follow, the ongoing billing problems overshadow any positives. The lack of clarity and support has made this experience more about managing confusing financial statements than enjoying my education. Overall, DeVry University needs to improve its communication and billing processes to avoid these issues for future students because it really just seems that they pressure people to join and then take advantage of them financially.

The class structure was quizzes on every chapter with a midterm and a final, which were straight forward as long as your did the workbook.

This class seemed like the best option available in my area, but unfortunately, the experience did…read morenot meet expectations because of the instructor. On the center's website, it states that the program "promises to deliver the utmost service to the students with ethical values, respect, and dignity." However, my experience in this class did not reflect those values. Mrs. Ace, I hope you take this feedback seriously and reflect on the concerns being brought forward instead of immediately arguing against them. One major issue is the way students' concerns are handled. Mrs. Ace has stated that anyone who writes a negative review will fail in the medical field and in her class. However, I passed her course and passed my CNA certification exam on my first attempt. Providing honest feedback does not determine a student's ability to succeed in healthcare. There were multiple situations where students were made to feel embarrassed, dismissed, or discouraged. For example, one student asked about a correction on a quiz question and attempted to explain her reasoning. Instead of discussing the concern professionally, Mrs. Ace refused to listen, repeatedly threatened to remove the student from the class, and the situation ended with the student crying. After discussing the same question with my father, who is a neurosurgeon, he agreed with the student's reasoning. This showed that the concern was valid and should have been addressed respectfully. Mrs. Ace frequently belittles students rather than creating an environment where they feel comfortable learning and asking questions. There is a difference between maintaining high standards and making students feel intimidated or disrespected. The biggest issue with this class is not the curriculum or clinical experience; it is the instructor's attitude, communication style, and treatment of students. A CNA program should prepare students for healthcare by encouraging professionalism, confidence, and respect.

If I could give it minus infinity i would without any hesitation for endless reasons…read more It's only business to suck up money Very poor costumer service At the beginning They pull you with kind of cheaper tuition in the market Everything is up to you, no support you have to read and read and read and leave it to the best guess in the exam The teachers are jock, if you ask a question they just read from the book, word by word specially the one called Sheri, is a shame to be called a teacher and I heard that she is still there; she does everything to make you fail if she doesn't like you; Who said the teachers don't have control over the ATI is a big fat lie! In this school you feel like you're not in the US. If you ask me for my experience there; I would say: it was a nightmare combination of Covid pandemic, coupled deaths of loved ones in my family and I didn't get any support from them; only the same speech of nursing school is highly challenging; if I didn't want to take the challenge I wouldn't go there; they talk to you like talking to a teenager, very disrespectful Anyway that was my mistake to go to that place; because is just a scam, knowing that is uncredited Good luck to everyone trapped there and from my side I don't want to even remember the name or the time and my money that I just threw in the garbage.

I recommend this school because I passed my Nclex on first attempt The staff is helpful caring and encouraging They do their best to push us toward success The teachers are awesome they showed us that we can become nurses with hands on training at the clinical sites and more hands on training on lab days they taught us everything that needed to be known for success on exams ATIs and the Nclex The school is private so the cost is more compared to community college but its worth the price to get into the nursing field within 15months I went to the school because I got tired of waiting for community college nursing program Plus the school has a payment plan so its affordable I finished this school with no student loan debt

I have gained so much knowledge within this short period of time. I'll definitely recommend the school and all. Thank you Ms Candice
