I have been going there several years and I have been completely satisfied with everyone there so far.

Although I really like the doctors and nurses overall I wouldn't recommend the hassle it takes to get to them. If you check the google reviews it'll show you how unprofessional the management and staff are when it comes to customer service. As a result, I've decided to switch PCP. Maybe you'll have better luck with this doctor's office because the medical team is actually amazing. read more

Stay away from this place. Dr. Robinson is a sound medical professional but how his office handles business should be less than one star and this is a direct reflection of his office manager or whomever is in charge. I've been trying to get my medical records sent to a new physician because I've relocated and they will and I mean never answer the phone or return voice messages. Even the medical office that I'm trying to switch to cannot get these folks to answer the phone or send over my medical records. This is by far the worse experience I've ever had with a doctor's office and no one should ever do business with this office. He allows his front office staff to treat his patients however they want bullying them talking down to them treating them like crap and he never stepped in to do anything and that is wrong you should be respectful to your patients that's why you have a job Jessica and Fabiola were always so nice so it is not the doctors themselves but the office staff and the nurses I recommend that you find another doctor if you won't respect! Called to make an appointment as a new patient. Recently moved here, and has been looking for a good primary care physician. My stylist recommended Dr. Robinson, saying he was an amazing doctor, but she also said his staff is rude. I put that aside and called today to make an appointment. After being on hold for almost 30 minutes, I must say, a young lady who called herself 'T' don't know how true that was, but I find her to be most unpleasant, and most unhelpful, subtly rude. So I guess if this is my first experience with this staff, my search continues for another PCP. Rather unfortunate, that I have heard nothing but good things about Dr. Robinson, but his staff seems to be a deterrent. read more

Let me first start by saying I have been going to see Dr. Robinson for years my entire family goes to him. However, this review is due to the poor customer service by the office manager Kelly. I have reached out to her on multiple occasions via phone and email regarding an outstanding lab bill for lab work that was ordered by the office back in October 2019. Per her request I emailed my concerns that labs were drawn unnecessarily for my son (age 21). He was only coming in for an annual visit and he is still on our insurance. I could not understand why they needed to draw for a thyroid screen vitamin D screen or even a lipid panel if he's had no prior diagnosis. She informed me that labcorp does their own billing and I needed to contact them. I would beg to differ since the labs were ordered and drawn by the office prior to his annual visit. This obviously is a coding issue and should have been managed by the office. In the mist of waiting for Kelly to call or email me back my son has a collection past due bill from labcorp and we are now having to foot a bill for $312.56. For labs that were not covered by our insurance and we were not aware of them being drawn until after the fact. We were not given the choice to refuse the labs. Kelly was made aware of the past due notice and again no response. It makes you wonder how many times has this happened other patients. Kelly or whomever that may wish to respond I am the lady with the last name that began with a C that you never called back. That is what she said when she knew I was in the phone. My apologies to Dr. Robinson for the poor rating this is no reflection on him or a Jessica they are both amazing. However, Kelly needed to manage the situation better. read more

My family and I have been patients of Med South - Dr. Ira Robinson since 2019, and our experiences have been nothing but pleasant. The front desk staff is welcoming, and the nurses and doctors are professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. We do not feel rushed when meeting with doctors, but we also come prepared with our questions/concerns to respect their time. The office is well organized and clean. I also always enjoy the educational programs that appear on the TV in the waiting room and motivating messages on the receptionist's mini bulletin board when checking out. read more

I have been there three or four times, and have never actually met my primary care Doctor. The PA's who have treated me have been VERY nice though. I was fine with this office, until I caught COVID. They have been very unhelpful throughout this process, and the people who answer the phones are very rude. You will also stay on hold for 30 minutes sometimes. I did not appreciate having to beg them to sign a form for my time off work, having to make multiple phone calls to get the said form, then wait a week for it, and then have to pay $25 for them to write a few sentences/email it. What a hassle! I am going to change my primary care Doctor, even though I never even got a chance to meet him. read more

Good doctor. Horrible rude front desk staff. Been going there 10 years all because of the doctor. Moved 40+ miles away and went in for check up. Receptionist said I had a balance due and some of it needed to be paid today. I asked her if I could see the doctor if I didn't have money and she smiled cheerfully as she said NO I said I sure wish I had known this before I drove so far over. Great Doctor. Office manager and front desk staff are horrible. I went to Dr. Robinson for a couple of years. I've been attempting to acquire my medical records for at least a year. I've been told that because I owe a balance I can't have my medical records. The office manager Kelly Padgett and front desk receptionist Charlie Padgett have both told me no about my medical records. I don't advise anyone to become a patient. Dr. Robinson is amazing. He's straightforward but personable and no matter the procedure always makes you feel comfortable. He's helped me to actually desire to be healthier and not just for myself. I have no complaints about Dr Robinson or NPJessica. My complaint is with the front office. I have sent TWO messages for an appointment from falling, April 30th. One was in early May. I got a confirmation but no phone call. I sent another message, got confirmation and still NO call back for an appointment as of 6/20/18!!! I chose the text alternative because every time you call, you're rudely put on hold before giving the opportunity to respond to being put on hold. Long wait sometimes, have hung up, called back and put on hold again. I also noticed they have not called me or sent notice on mammogram that is supposed to been done in June. As for waiting time, it can be well over 1 hour or more. read more
