I am Highly disappointed... 1. Dr.B (She is very kind btw so nothing against her AT ALL!) 2. Last year, I was a victim of Fraud- Healthcare etc so I had two health insurance cards and showed them both- ‍ a BCBs one came in the mail (please follow me with this) smh ‍ 3. when I went to my initial apt- I Told them that I was confused as to the how etc (before I knew someone did this and this was documented and this office knew this etc etc) 4. flash forward- I "owe $500"- not true at all (also had this conversation with two insurance companies and also this doctors office... bare with me please...) 5. I kept getting told via this office "it's okay, come in anyway" etc etc "we understand " blah blah a blah... sooooo 6. last month- I got to my docs apt for med refill follow up and yikes smfh...... 7. I am in the back... the "financial lady" starts drilling me about $500 8. I tell her that I have had SEVERAL conversations dating back with their finance dept and also with the person. that does that part at this location 9. I was in the back... barely said hello- etc 10. I was in the room, a nurse didn't come in... the financial rude whoever she was came in and 11. IMMEDIATELY started being rude- I was highly confused 12. I begged to speak to someone from fimamce, explain briefly why..... 13. She QUICKLY pretty much told me SHE is the financial person and that she never had that conversation and "you need to leave" 14. also Piedmont Henry and myself have been reported to the state board so such a huge random coincidence that this happened auto next... 15. I am in the back then ^^^^ I asked if I could speak to anyone other than that woman etc 16. she said NO you need to leave 17. EMBARRASSING AF / and low key straight up traumatic as hell- and no I am not going to report this BS 18. she proceeded and that day- look at your cameras and ask your staff 19. I didn't do anything wrong 20. I was actually confused as hell and cried for about a week after bc what the hell!?!??! she pretend "escorted me out" as if I was being rudely- I was kind as hell and welp full disclosure auto recorded - for my records and yes I know the law. so I received a letter stating that I will be treated but no longer seen at your doctors office (why would I want to after this BS) that I am to receive proper care til the 30 day mark of that letter my request- my scrips for ADHD and anxiety and after that Jesus Christ what the heck They knew about the fraud and that I am waiting for any kind of proper correspondence regarding that $500 my insurance has BEEN back normal and I am fully covered like I was when I went into your office (when I said idk how or where I got the BCBS card... I legit told you all that my first appointment- but your office filed both and that when the fraud initiated) It began at Your office and I have proof/ and well duh when I asked and showed you the cards (and for those reading this- that is just the tip of the iceberg- go there if ya feel safe- again don't get me wrong- Dr. B is awesome - that office ) just please ask Dr. B to send my adhd and anxiety med refill to Walgreens That was laughable to escort me out like frfr The rudest shyt I have ever experienced and also.... the lady said "I am the person that handles this stuff" Me- well is the ere someone else ? Dr. Sylvain is friendly, knowledgeable and professional, but I would not recommend the Center because you can't reach anyone once you leave the office. I have tried to get a vein procedure scheduled since mid-November and it now Dec. 22, 2020, and still no word from the office. I have left several messages and none of my calls have been returned. I think I'm done. I really like Dr. Sylvain, so I hate to leave the Center, but I guess I have no choice. I met my insurance deductible this year, so this was a really good time to have the procedure done, but when you are depending on professionals to behave professionally and they don't, this is what you are left with. I would give them no stars, but not an option. I really liked Dr. Berrera, but they charged me for 2 office visits on the same day, because I mentioned 2 different ailments. So it seems they charge per ailment. Stay away. This is wrong. I contacted them several times and they were all very nice about overcharging me, but they say that's the way they do it. I have been a patient of Dr Barrera for about 2 years for bio te pellets. One an a half years ago they messed up on the hormone levels and things went off the charts. I have felt horrible and no energy since. I take B12 shots once a week to help because of other issues and had called in for a refill at the end of Oct 2020. Her nurse never called it in or called me back to come in for a check up. I called in Nov for other refills and again no answer back. Finally sent a pm on FB and the office manager answered back and asked me to call her. She wouldn't stop talking long enough for me to explain what all had happened and I finally hung up. She called back and said she would have Dr B call me back that evening and I said no, I don't really want to talk to anyone else that night, have her call me back sometime the next day. That was Jan 6th and I haven't heard back from anyone else. I'm not going back and wouldn't recommend them to anyone if they can't take the time to fix what is wrong and put their patients first again. Update: April 1st, 2020 Dr Barrera called me back and apologized and said they had let go of the person not returning phone calls and I made an appt to see Dr B again. The appt went well and a prescription was called in. After waiting a week for it to be filled I called the office and told them what the pharmacy said needed to be done. After waiting 3 days to be called back I called again, (their message said someone would call that day if before 3pm). Finally the office manager called and said my meds were corrected and it would be better if I found another Doc. Really? You took an oath to help people and your employees aren't doing their job but I'm made to feel unresponsible. Dr B is part owner of the group. The bio te pellets aren't covered by insurance and costed $350, 4 times a year. I can only guess that since I stopped the pellets and that money dried up, they are no longer interested. I will never recommend this office to anyone!! Beware when looking to this office. read more

I've had a good experience with this office. Each time I come in I'm greeted with a smile. Last week I needed assistance with some paperwork and had to speak with the office manager. The staff transferred me to her however she wasn't available so I left her a message. She called me back but we played phone tag for a couple days. When we finally spoke she was able to assist me. I drive an hour to come here because the service is so impeccable. I've been to so many doctors that lack concern but I've never had that problem here. Both the doctors and the nurse practitioner are thorough, caring, and reassuring! They go out of their way, the appointments never feel rushed, this is like the home away from home of doctors offices. The predominantly Women staff just adds to the comfort. I typically don't write review but I will today. I work in healthcare myself but the staff that answer the phone for appointments and scheduling is extremely rude. I had an appointment schedule for Saturday July 25. I call on Thursday to confirm mine appointment. The lady that answer the phone proceed to tell they weren't open on Saturday. I ask her when was I going to be informed of this since they gave me a Saturday appointment. She total ignore by questions and kept asking when I wanted my appointment in an extremely rude manner. I tried to explain that I work everyday and had plan my day around this appointment. She was very rude and hang up the phone while I was speaking. Extremely unprofessional. She has no business working at desk or answering phone. While the doctors are great she is a representation of the business and poor representation at that. I didn't schedule myself for Saturday they gave me that appointment therefore, her attitude was extremely disrespectful and extremely unprofessional. read more

I have been a patient for nine years. The doctors are excellent. However, a couple of years ago, my husband and began experiencing problems with the staff. My husband had two of his blood tests lost. We both had to call numerous times before anyone would call us back. My problems escalated on my last visit when a staff member told me what I was saying had not occurred. I asked to speak with the doctor. She said that was not possible. Today, I went for a procedure that was scheduled six months ago only to be told it had been canceled. I asked why I was not told. The office manager produced a copy of a letter that was supposedly mailed to me. She also confirmed that my call had been received yesterday and had no explanation as to why it was not returned. I then asked to speak with the doctor. She told me she was with a patient. I then told her I would like to leave my name and number so the doctor could call and speak with me. This manager ignored my statement but told me to leave before she called the police and had me removed. Keep in mind I used no profanity, yelled or belittled her in any way. I don't know if the doctors are aware of how this woman is treating people. Last year, I had another staff member tell me that I had no right to go to the other clerk to ask to check out when she had gone to the bathroom. I had waited at the check out desk for almost 15 minutes and had begun to question whether I was where I was supposed to check out. I went to the check in to inquire whether the clerk was on a break and could I pay her. Apparently, it ticked that person off and she snapped at me. It's a shame what has happened here because the doctors are excellent. However, it's not worth the hassle dealing with staff who do not perform as well as the doctors. read more

In the beginning I enjoyed my visits, loved Dr. Barrera's attentiveness at all my visits. She hears and makes recommendations based on your medical needs. When it comes to the administration side I have to say I am DISGUSTED! No one is on the same page, apparently they are short staff so turn over is as high as the incompetency. Its been 6 week that my insurance company has not received my records, because of the lack of staff I am will to pick up my records to personally submit to my insurance company and I have been denied of those. THIS IS ILLEGAL. I will be going to the medical board on this matter. The response to patients from administration is rude and they come across as if you are bothering them. Again a patient will not be "bothering" if you did your job in a timely manner. Please take your health and money elsewhere. Also if you request to do any treatment other than their facility they will drag their feet to submit any orders because you're taking your money else where and that makes them take their time. I used to go there a few years ago and it was great. I just started back last month and the place looks like a construction zone, a lot of vacant office space, staff seems incompetent as I had to give the same person my name three times within 2 minutes. If you have to call to cancel your appointment or even to discuss a matter you're placed on hold for a considerable length of time and still no one returned to my calls so I just had to hang up (this has happend to me on four separate occasions as I was trying to cancel my appointment to ensure I wouldn't get charged). I even informed the young lady ( once I called and she asked could I please hold) that I was already on hold for 10 minutes, she didn't apologize and she just told me she had patients in front of her and still placed me on another hold. Anyone can get a patient, but your customer service is what will help you retain a patient! Lastly, they no longer have a service that calls to remind you of your appointments. read more

I really enjoy coming to this place. Everyone is helpful, they had some renovations done to the office and they are trying to get their staffing in order, but who business aren't getting it together. I love getting the vampire facial, botox and getting medical treatments- at times there phones can get really busy, that you are not able to get through. I'm a people person, so, I make friends with some of the staff members and get concierge services. LOL! read more

The staff is very unprofessional. The room I was seen in was not clean; the floor looked like it hadn't been swept in quite a while and there was hair on the pillow. The room was also very small, too small for the 3 people that were in there. There was no privacy curtain so had I still been changing and the practitioner walked in everyone in the hallway would have been privy to my room. The assistant, who was also in the room during a rather intimate procedure, was never introduced to me. She was the most unprofessional of all the staff that I encountered. The practitioner herself was rude, as well. I have had several issues with the incorrect prescription being sent to my pharmacy and never receive a call back when I leave a message about it. Rather than actually returning my call, they just continue to send the pharmacy the wrong thing. I will never go back to this unprofessional establishment. read more
