Ryan was terrific, we only hired him to do the pool enclosure…read more We hired Dan separately. I will write a more thorough review of him after my attorney reviews it because he has threatened to sue ME. But I have to say, Ryan was not involved in the deck. That was Dan only and Ryan felt so bad for us HE is making us whole. HE is paying to make everything right that DAN did...she will always be good in my book. Definitely hire him, you will not regret it. It's Dan who makes him look bad. Do not hire if Dan is involved. Now, he f you want a rec for the man who did the labor and was impeccable, DM me I will give you his number, hire him directly. Dan at times would get so hysterical, in front of other contractors we hired, that he literally had them to n their knees praying.

They broke…read moreone of our screen doors, one of our hose nozzles was crushed and we had to cut the hose and make a new fitting, there were cigarette butts strewn throughout our lawn as well as remnants of plaster, and they broke one of our patio chairs, but were very eager to get their check at the end without even reviewing a punch list of items we needed them to address and clean up. Don't get me wrong, the pool and deck look fantastic. They made a few promises they didn't keep such as putting decorative tile on the steps in the pool and they gave us a wrong size template to order granite for the in pool table. So, if you want a great looking pool, go ahead with Almighty, but hide your belongings including hoses and furniture - anything they could break. And prepare to pickup all their cigarettes from your yard.

I am shocked to find that Bill Coody is back in business. I had a pool built 10 years ago by him…read morebecause that is who my builder recommended. They went out of business as well-BTW. There were so many errors that the $60K (10 years ago) to build my pool has now included another $30K to fix all of the problems that I was left with when he went "out of business". First the person with the back hoe to dig the pool area out did not have the plan for the pool that I provided for Bill. They started digging and when I visited the work site I realized the spiral stair from the second floor would have dropped into the spa. They had to dig over 6 more feet to correct this. Luckily I caught it before they framed it. Next the stem wall that was supposed to be built to support the negative edge was never done so the block wall was simply laid on the sand and I had to have steel pylons installed later 15 feet down into the rock to stabilize the outer wall. I realized this because the tiles were popping off the fountains as the end of the pool attempted to slide down a 20 foot slope in the back yard. When I noticed stains coming thought the diamond bright and drained the pool to investigate. I realized that the shell was so thin is some areas that it cracked when you walked on it and the rebar was rusting through. Had to have the entire pool refinished at only 5yrs old. Lastly the deck stress lines were cut clean through causing all the water on the deck to simply drain through the deck and wash more of the sand out from underneath. Had to seal all of the cut lines to stop this. I will say I liked Bill himself but some of his workers were blatantly incompetent. The only good one was the time person for the bull nose pieces. He cut every piece to make a perfect circle around my spa with equal grout lines - not easy.

The trowel marks are all over the place, looks like a three year old did it.. No I have to file a lawsuit against this clown to fix it...I don't think he's capable.. Bottom line? STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS GUY....HE IS BAD NEWS, if you sill don't believe me, respond to this comment and I will invite you over so you can see for yourself..

I have debated long and hard on if I should post something and today, I made my mind up so others…read morewould not get burned. I had a business for 38 years. I never told a customer that I would do something and then not do it. If I said it would be done on a certain day then it was done. I never promised something I could not do and if I said I would be there at a certain time...I was there. In January 2021, we decided that we needed a new liner in our 32x16x8 foot pool. We had several people come and give us estimates. We finally decided on a local company for the job. We paid them $2,500 to order the liner as they asked. His estimate for the complete job was $3,800. In the end it cost $6,200! January 2021, I was told the job would take about 2 weeks after the liner came in and that seemed reasonable. I called a couple of weeks later after the deposit was given to see what the progress was and I was told that they needed to measure the pool and that it had to be empty. The next day I rented a pump from Volusia Rentals down the street and the next day the pool was empty, so I returned the pump. My wife and I had a few errands to run and when we returned I went outside to look at something in the back yard and to my surprise the liner had risen up about 4 feet in the deep end. I climbed down into the pool, and it was quickly apparent that water was pushing the liner up, so I got a razor knife and cut the liner. The pool then started filling up with ground water...quickly. Three weeks later they came and measured the empty pool. During those three weeks I rented the pump, at $40 a day, three more times before buying a pump that ran 24 hours a day to keep the water out. Two days after they measured the size they came back and had to remeasure the pool. It is now the end of February, and the liner was just ordered. It was winter so we were patient and waited. In the second week of March we were told the liner was in and they would be out in a couple of days to install it. Two weeks later I asked when they would be out and I was told the installer was out of town and rehabilitating a back injury and they were working on a replacement person. At the end of the first week in April, a group of people came to start installation, but the ground water had to be eliminated first. For the next three weeks they had a pump running 24 hours a day evacuating the water and the one of the end results was $250 of new St Augustine sod was destroyed. From the constant flow of water over it. Finally they came up with a solution and put in another pipe that sucked the water up, but that only happened after they quit working on our pool so they could go build a new in Tampa and then a week later in Clermont. After they finally came back to work, the bottom of the pool needed a hard surface put down, but they said because of Covid it was not available. I was told that a substitute was found and the next day they arrived with bags of Kuikrete and never used them. Too wet they said. So, they packed the sand down and started installing the liner. The first time they had the liner backwards and then when they finally got it straightened out, they had disturbed the underlying soil and now we have spots that are not smooth. May 10, 2021, and we finally we able to use our pool with clear water. We were also told and have in writing taht we have a $150 credit at their store, we would be given a pool light that changed color, all white products would be replaced and the missing piece from the plastic strip at the bottom of the walk-in stairs would be replaced. Today is May 15, 2022, and we still don't have a pool light, I purchased the pool jet plastics and replaced them, the missing piece is still missing and when the put the bottom part of the plastic they didn't use stainless steel and when I tried to unscrew them today, they had rusted and the heads broke off. We were charged extra for the base material that was not used! And now, because they used the wrong hardware, in the coming winter we will have to drain the pool down to below the bottom of the steps so I can drill out the broken bolts and replace them. I will also have to reseal the liner at that position to prevent further water leaks. In summation, we were promised things we didn't receive, we were left when other jobs caused them to leave our job, the ground under the pool liner was incorrectly prepared and what we paid for wasn't used, and now I have to correct the installation of the liner seal at the bottom of the steps.
