My property manager notified me that my tenants notified them that my pool pump quit working. My property manager then informed me their regular Lake Mary pool guy had a heart attack and would not be able to take care of it and that the other pool service vendors they have didn't service Lake Mary, that they would have to find a new one. I knew the pool pump had to be taken care of right away so I contact Paul's Pool Service Inc. and talked to Brandy. Recent leak of the multiport valve noticed by our pool tech and reported to Brandy. Paul himself was out the next morning to replace the valve. After moving 10-15 miles away in a new home, the pool was a small fraction of the size, requiring far less maintenance and so I opted to cancel the weekly service but continue to call on them for equipment upgrades, repairs, etc. Brandy is amazing, professional and always courteous. I have been with Paul's Pool service for over 30 years. I have moved three times during that time and I always keep Paul's Pool Services. They are dependable and do so many more things than just clean my pool. They keep the maintenance up on it, which is a wonderful thing because I never have to worry about it, they always let me know if it is in need of more water, They leave a note at my house every week after they clean it to let me know what they did. They also clean pool decks and screens. The billing service is accurate and always done in a timely manner. The rates are very good. Today is the final day we will be using this company. While I ran out for 20 minutes today gunner came to clean the pool. At least that is what the note said. The pool was not vacuumed, the top was not skimmed, the filter was not cleaned, the spa was not touched and the the pamphlet saying it was cleaned was left on the outside screen. Guessing he never even walked onto the patio. Extremely disappointed in this service and management for not resolving this issue. Will not recommend this company to anyone and will make sure the neighbors know of the service received. read more

I was looking on google for info on salt water filters for my pool when I saw this review for Paul's Pool Service In Lake Mary. I have used Paul for about 20 years now. Paul has always been professional and has saved me time and money on more than a couple occasions when he talked me through a few quick and easy fixes to my pool's filter. He has been able to fix the built in cleaning system when several other companies just kept replacing the guts at $300 plus each time. I had to share our experience when I saw this review as Paul has had many positive recommendations on our Nextdoor site also. After looking further into this, I see that Yelp also has 3 other reviews that are 5 Star but for whatever reason they are ignoring them and only posting this one negative. That is not an accurate picture of what Paul's Pool Service is about. Quality work, good fair pricing, and quick response when called. read more
