She said that the case should be easy and that he would get nothing because he came into the marriage with only a suitcase, and a year and a month later he left with a new car, a new wardrobe, and two vacations. Turns out that the divorce was not easy, at least for me. We remained married legally (although we didn't live together) for THREE YEARS!! During that time, he did NOT pay one penny toward the mortgage of my home while I was working 2 jobs to manage.
